Disneyland Ticket Prices To Increase SUNDAY NIGHT at Midnight

Disneyland Ticket prices are set to change WITHOUT NOTICE at midnight on Sunday. The increases will be small for AP'sSocal, So cal select and Deluxe but supposedly will be 80-100 dollars for Premium. One day and Park hopper tickets are set to rise to 99$ for one day one park and $155 for park hopper. Disney has not released any information on this but a client of ours who is a high up club 33 member was given a heads yesterday.

    Buy your tickets now!!

Looking at historical date of price increase data, this wouldn't surprise me in the least. Or increases happening by the end of May at the latest.

If it's true, I wonder why the premium would be increasing so much as compared to the lower tier passes. Is that normal?

I find it a little hard to believe since in the past Disney usually announces the price increase the Friday before. Wouldn't make sense that Premium would go up that much.

The past few Saturdays I have gone the parks seem some what less crowded so I'm wondering if Premium crowds are now priced out.

Ugh had this time of year!

Disney didn't announce the increases at WDW this past Feb. until Saturday evening.

The data I have for past price increases for the last 5 years are:

    2009 - August 2nd
    2010 - August 5th
    2011 - June 12th
    2012 - May 20th
    2013 - June 2nd

Only one was in May (year CarsLand opened.)

Each year, Disney has given less and less notice.

Me too! First thing I did when I saw the thread (even if it's only rumor right now) was to call & verify that we're locked in for our package price!

Will treat this as a simple rumor until something is confirmed.

Man... With me looking at a Premium AP and three 5-day PHers right now, this is NOT good news.

They didn't give much notice last year either. If I remember right someone posted on a Saturday that they were going up on Sunday. And then they did. We've already purchased our APs for June (and our accompanying family bought their park hoppers), because I was sure prices would increase before our trip.

Just picked up a Premium AP. Will have to plan and book our October trip tomorrow if this is indeed the case.

Re: Disneyland Ticket Prices To Increase SUNDAY NIGHT at Midnight

I purchased my premium AP's last week in anticipation of the price rises. We are holidaying in August.

It always happens so quick and this year I was determined to get in early.

It will be interesting to see what goes up and by how much. The price rises will be a reflection on what the last prices rises did to their customer base. If the premium AP's are going up more then the other annual passes then its possibly because they saw a reduction in people holding the other AP's while still an increase in the premium AP's.

That kind of makes sense too. People who buy the premium AP's are either fanatical Disneyland supporters and want to go as much as possible or they are people who have enough money to afford it for their few trips a year.

The lower AP prices are probably for those California residents who like to go to Disneyland but unfortunately the high prices don't always fit their budgets and so the cheaper option makes sense or they are just not that fanatical about Disneyland. Their tickets would be the first thing on the chopping block if they had to reign in spending.

They do this every year, yet many people still visit the parks. When the demand for the product is high, they raise prices.
