Money is no object, make ONE MAJOR change to the resort to improve it

If money and feasibility were no objects, what ONE major change would you make to the resort to improve expansion possibilities, guest flow, etc.?

    Examples:
Move the entirety of Adventureland (JC and Indy) to north of Frontierland so that it can be expanded.
Move the Grand Californian so that DCA can expand to the NW.
Reroute Harbor to the east so that Tomorrowland can be expanded.
Build some kind of transportation that encircles DCA, ala the DLRR.
    etc.

Man that's a toughie only because I would do multiple things.

I think I would reroute the entire monorail so that it travels/stops at the following points: Mickey and Friends parking garage to DTD to GCH to the esplanade and then outside the third gate (if a hotel and/or parking lot was built along the way, I'd have the monorail stop there to). There would be no monorail stop inside actual parks.

A third park to help absorb all these people.

It might be a lazy answer but I'd overhaul Tomorrowland. That thread about all the action being on the west side and the response that, while that is arguably true today, once upon a time everyone wanted to be in Tomorrowland, makes me nostalgic for a really stupendous Tomorrowland. I wouldn't bring back the old attractions, but they could certainly point the way to new additions.

I really like that answer, bigcatrik. I was thinking something similar. A whole new Tomorrowland not based on a particular movie or franchise, but a sci-fi future ala Jetsons/Meet the Robinsons that is a whole lot of fun, and shows a living, thriving community of the future.

Great idea thread. I would revamp the Rivers of America to celebrate the Frontier spirit that Walt originally had. No, there would not be a burning cabin, but here are some ideas:

Settlers cabin would have a pioneer family working hard on their land clearing trees and planting in a garden. For drama there might be a grizzly bear attempting to kill some of the livestock and the father firing his musket to scare the bear away.

I would have a mountain man setting beaver traps by a stream.

There is already the Indian village; I would just add to the theme.

Around the last bend I would put a mining boom town with miners both panning for gold and maybe some hard rock miners pushing ore cars out of a tunnel. Here it might be good to add some comedy in the classic Disney style. Behind the mining camp would be a new Cascade peak with even more dramatic waterfalls. I would even consider having a small steam train (not a ride) making passes along a trestle bridge hauling timber to the mining camp for the mines.

I would remove all of the pirate themes from Tom Sawyers Island. I would rebuild Fort Wilderness and add a Indian camp on the island and have CMs in character like you might have in a National Park answering questions and teaching about the history of the American and Native American presence on the Frontier.

I would make Tom Sawyers Island fun again.

I would also replace the berm outside the DLRR track with a forced perspective facade similar to how they did in Cars Land to replicate a iconic rock features in Yosemite or other locations.

Bulldoze ToonTown and build London Street featuring a major E-ticket Poppins attraction; another E-ticket attraction based on the works of Charles Dickens; a solid D-ticket ride with The Great Mouse Detective and a wonderful little shop called -Dalmatians- .

I'd build a third park called Walt Disney's Original Disneyland, encompassing the look and attractions of the park as it appeared in the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's. There would be no meet n greets, the Matterhorn bobsleds would be pre-refurb, and nothing having to do with Frozen would appear in one square inch of the place.

Oh and since money is no object, 20 bucks a head for park admission and the Billies would be back, inside the GH and paid three times what they were making before.

Third park with Marvel, Star Wars, and possibly others. Remove Star Wars and Marvel from TL and revamp that land. Not sure what, specifically, I would do in TL, but I feel that those franchises could support a new park and TL could be restored into a more "future" feel and less "sci fi".

I love this idea of London Street. However, since money is no object, I'd fix up Toon Town, rather than replace it.

Also, since money is no object, I'd like a pony.

    Restore resort infrastructure:

    - Pumbaa parking structure
    - Resort wide transportation (monorail system)
    - Purchase and expand Garden Walk, finish hotels, make it DTD East
    - Pay SCE to put large energy towers underground
    - Pay Anaheim to add more changeable signage around the resort district

Essentially, one major project to ensure the resort could handle the amount if people it currently sees.

    Rip out ToonTown.
I am so sick of Frozen I can't even describe the feeling.
