Nancy Matt and the Case of the Stoned Skipper

Sounds like a murder mystery huh?

Anyway, so Saturday I took my out of town friend to D-land for his first time. We had a great day, saw a few Micechatters (even saw TheBob!) and had a fun day.

One thing was a little odd however, the skipper we had on Jungle, was so stoned! He reeked of it, and was just so weird! I mean I can handle weird as some of you are aware of, but this guy was really REALLY acting loopy! His actions were so odd and his delivery was sooooooo, stoner-like. And he was older too! I mean Iím used to younger 20-something skippers and he had to have been mid to late 30ís. My friend even mentioned, before I said anything, how he noticed the pot smell coming from him and how weird he was. I sat RIGHT next to him and was getting a contact high from him I swear. He was making all these really odd movements and was just so bizarre.

Anyway, I didnít report him because he wasnít rude or anything but I was wondering, has this happened to anyone else? Is pot smoking and working a common cast member ďthingĒ? Should I have reported him? Nancy Matt is in search of answers to solve this case, it's up to you to help him do it!

Actually, you probably should have reported him. The last thing Disney needs is an accident caused by someone operating an attraction under the influence of drugs.

I say report it... if he's making his addictions that noticable, he has no place in the park.

Just like I reported that woman that was swerving all over the place this morning to 1-800-GRAB-DUI.

    Crazy,man, crazy!!!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Inquiring minds want to know, did it make his lines funnier?

Restrictions on guests also appy to CM's. If you would report a guest, you should report the CM as well.

Unfortunately no. He was more annoying than anything actually.

Don't even hesitate reporting him, this is unacceptable.

Drug use is higher among Boomers and Gen X'ers than today's youth according to recent studies.

I don't have anything against pot smokers, but being stoned while operating an attraction is unacceptable. Riding while stoned on the other hand.....

Also keep in mind that some people (guest like me) are highly allergic to Pot Smoke and even a whiff of it can send me into spasms and with all the other porblems I have now, I don't need that. I would have reported him to the first manager or security guard I saw on the way to City Hall.

I'm just cracking up that instead of calling himself Sherlock Matt or Matt Duchovny or anything, it's "Nancy Matt"

    Wonderfully appropriate.
