Apperantly Haunted Mansion is getting a second wave of changes/upgrades when it reopens later this year. Does anyone know the details?

I find it funny that SM, HM, POTC, IASW, and JC were all supposed to be changed in time for the 50th but there only NOW getting serious about those plans: SM isnt introducing the other half of its new features untill grad nite, POTC doesnt open untill june, etc. (I guess better late then never, huh guys?).

Well if you worked in marketing at the DLR, wouldn't it make sense to spread things out to keep a consistent heavy crowd of guests at the park for the entire celebration, or guests who maybe come once a year to the park and cannot get everything they want done because everything new was opened on May 5!

I think that the marketing department is not trying to "spread things out" but is trying to get repeat guests. Last year was a heavy attendance year. That was the 50th anniversary. Now for the 51st, they have to go a little further. New attractions (or variations on the old), encourages people who came last year, to go again this year. It is a 2fer of another kind. I see it only INCREASING attendance, not decreasing or managing it.

What I've heard (and take this with a chunk of salt, I have no inside sources whatsoever, this is just what I've picked up from around the web) is:

Some shuffling of things in the attic to possibly make room for a new inhabitant (or should I say old?)

The HitchHiking Ghosts becoming more interactive (think Roz)

Some fixing up the Seance Circle and that green floating light thing in it

That's just what I've heard. I have no idea if these were just somebody's ideas or if these are the actual plans...

You can say it. You heard that WDI might be re-installing the famous Hatbox Ghost. It's an old rumor, but here's to hoping it comes true.

Yes, I have heard the same. Let us hope that our sources are correct!

I have heard about something happening with the glowing green light, but I don't know what's going on with it, only that something is. Any chance you know?
