Picking a date to go to Mickey's Halloween Party

    Hi Folks,

Need some advice. I apologize in advance, I was too lazy to search for past forums.

I'm trying to plan out going to Mickey's Halloween Party. This is the first time I'm going, and there's four of us (wife, 2 year old and 4 month old).

I'm looking at two dates: Monday Oct 27 OR Friday Oct 31 (halloween). When is a better time to go?

I kind of want to go on Halloween, but worried about the crowds, and since people will be partying that night, drunk drivers in the late evening.

THe advantage going Monday will be cheaper, possibly less crowds, and safer roads? Also, we'll get to stay home and give out candy.

For those who have gone before, what do you think?

Yeah, your pro/con list seems to favor the non Halloween one, which is what I would chose for the same reasons

Go on the 27th, for all the reasons listed. Then take your kids out again on Halloween. More candy for you to sneak when the kiddos aren't looking.
If I could pick one Disney charater I'm most like, it would be Cinderella. I love to clean and I have an obssesion with shoes!

I bought my tickets for the 27th this morning.

If you are looking for smaller crowds and a cheaper price, which it seems like you are, I would choose the 27th over the 31st.
I wish Frozen would have never been made.

Once you choose a day to go to the halloween party, respond to this poll:

Which date for Halloween Party are you planning to attend?

I think the 27th is best. Hell, I am going the 3rd because it's cheaper. And based upon my limited knowledge of 2 year olds and 4 month olds, the only people who are going to have any clue or care whether you're there on Halloween night or not are you and your spouse. Save money and heartache worrying about safety and crowds by going the 27th.

Stay home the 31st, hand out candy, and watch Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin. Or go to some local, safe carnival and dress the kids up again. Two parties for the price of one. Win/win.
