Near the DCA animation building maybe. But a lot of people don't even know who he is...

I'd like to see the shorts added to the Main Street Cinema. Then we'll see how it goes.

i think there could make a good line of clothing but first they would have to educate people about who he is because of the similiarities he has to mickey mouse.

Oswald needs to be put into the parks. He is such a huge piece of Disney history. Without him there would be no Mickey Mouse. I'm sure they will plan a big PR stunt at Disneyland and have Mickey Mouse come out from the castle and introduce his good friend Oswald to the world. It is very stange how in Japan he is very well known and in the US its only us Disney fans who have any idea who he is. However, I'm sure that will change in the future.

I think he needs a re-introduction first. People really have no clue who this silent semi-star is. Not many people even know he is Disney or a precursor to Mickey Mouse. I just think he's not really that viable at this point, so they would have a hard time marketing this character.

I live 2 miles away from Disneyland if Walt would've built it at Riverside and Buena Vista.

    I vote yes...

But if you've been paying attention, you probably know that.

I love the old black-and-white stars.

Warner Bros. has been embracing their black and white past with much success -- daily showings of Bosko on Nick, Bosko appearing in Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs (which were stars of B&W past - at least on the show), etc. Disney could very well do the same. Good time to dust off some of the more obscure characters, like Clarabelle and Horace Horsecollar (even though they *have* been updated and used in recent times, still not very recognizable to most).

They've got a vintage line for the fab five -- Oswald could easily become a part of that.

Kingdom Hearts 3! The Steamboat Willie segment of 2 seams to be doing pretty well with reviewers, all we need to do is have Sora to team up with Oswald against Oswald's old nemesis, Pete!

I think Disney can make the character marketable....First they need to study the character's personality first so that they can market the caharacter right. The easiest way to start is to show off his cartoons or do a show on him on the History, Disney, ABC, or Toon Disney channels that Disney owns. Perhaps they can make a parade float for him to, but no matter what we really can not tell if the public will accept or reject the character all in all.

Yes, I would love to see Oswald!

Sounds like great choice a Disney Treasures set for later.

You know what would be cool? - - Marry Oswald to DCA as the mascot for a "Walt Disney's California" park - - with the Hyperion Studios and all built on site as recently discussed elsewhere - - and why not get Diane to move her Walt Disney museum down there too?

Suddenly the place would have a presence and purpose!
