Re: Trekkie Dad's at Disneyland! Woohoo!

2/11 after break. About sundown we headed back to DCA to cash in our APs for Soarin', and then we went through the GCH for a little shopping in Downtown Disney. We listened to a violinist play in front of Naples and then spent some serious time in Dept 56. By the time we were hungry again it was too late for Whitewater, so we took the monorail over to Redd Rocket's. It was pretty busy. I had the chicken fusilli and DW got herself TWO slices of pizza. After that we headed across the hub for the Tiki Room.

Next was the Jungle Cruise, and Wolfy called just as we were about to board. I called her after we got off. She offered to meet us if we were planning to stay till closing, but I declined, as DW figured she would be too tired tomorrow if we did.

Still, we got right on Pirates (during Fantasmic!) and Pooh (during the fireworks). Out of curiousity I bought and ate a Tigger tail. (Probably won't do that again.) Then we got on the train at NOS for a relaxing ride back to the entrance. We exited about 10:30.

Tomorrow we plan to have breakfast at Storytellers and meet up with Chatters at noon. Other than that, we'll see what unfolds.

Hey! That's not on your diet. It's good tho, huh?

Once again we are going to miss you buy a few weeks. We will be there March 1-4, just for a quick trip between my classes.

I'm not as hard core about the diet--except for avoiding red meat. Still, I will avoid the creamy sauces MOST of the time. I'm at a healthy weight now, but I'm still aware of what I'm eating. If we end up going to Redd's again, I'll have the penne pasta with basil and tomatoes. The fusilli was tasty, but I don't need all that cream sauce. (Still, it was probably a better choice for me than ANY of the pizza.)

CL, I kept wondering if we would run into you like we did last visit. That would have made it even more fun.

Re: Trekkie Dad's at Disneyland! Woohoo!

Wolfette and I didn't make it. Seems she couldn't find her pass this morning, but was afraid to tell me that she had lost it. Went to to the Park, which was "crazy" busy, waited for the Tram, waited to get through Security, waited 1/2 hour to get to the entrance gates. She THEN told me she didn't have her pass! Said she must have lost it on the way in.....hmmmm! Well called Dad, and he found it in one of her many wallets. Talk about the Wolfette getting in trouble!!!! She knew the whole time she didn't have it. Kids!!! Needless to say she is now not having a very good day!
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

Not candy, it is some type of bread thingy. I tried one and it was very bland and kind of hard. I won't eat them again. Of course with Bengal closing I may not have that choice.

OK, there must be two different items. Tigger Tails and Tiger Tails.
