    Dear Disney Executives,

Suppose that is was true, that higher-up Disney employees peruse this site to gather free information from their fanatical guests...what would you say to them? What would you say, if not directly to them, but **hint hint nudge nudge** style while they just happened to be walking the parks and passing you? This should be fun...

If they heard us walkig down Main Street -
Hubby, "What, we haven't been here in 13 years and there are only 3 new rides?! And one of them is POOH????"
    Me "But honey, there's DCA!"
    Hubby "THAT's not DISNEYLAND"
Daughter "Dad, I want a Churro"
    Vendor "Fourteen Dollars please"

Actually I think they'd hear "Man I miss the Subs! I hope they bring them back without a cheesy Pixar overlay!"

I'd like them to hear how much happier we are with Disneyland's freshening, and then hope that they plan on making some E-tickets!

Forget it. I think the reality is that for years too few of them ever took walks in the park! Otherwise they would have seen all the decay years ago.

    I'd say "Hi Matt!"

I love the "iWish" icon you put together. Steve Jobs is one of the few CEO in the tech world actually hiring American workers! Most the others, are firing Americans and shipping work offshore.

I think the message to send the management is that quality matters! Trying to do things on the cheap leads to disasterous results. People aren't stupid and they know a lousy ride when they see it.

In addition, the internet is a powerful influence in shaping people's opinions. Therefore, it's even more critical to ensure the park experience is top notch. Word travels fast in the age of the internet.

I'd say continue in the right direction, which I feel they are (at least for Disneyland). Now I would actually argue WDW needs more help than DL, but we'll get into that some other time.

Anyways, recent changes in positions have caused Disneyland to seem like a brand new park. Rides are back in operation, more, fresh paint everywhere to make the park sparkle, and new attractions are opening sooner than thought. I have faith in the future of Disneyland and I think it is more wise to build a few more attractions over the years that aren't necessairly E-Tickets, but attractions the whole family can enjoy (this is perhaps where DCA needs some help). Then, it's time for another Disneyland Resort expansion!! Haha. All in all, I'd say fantastic job for the recent work on Disneyland, I can't wait for my trip!!!

I would share my opinion about the little things:
How they cancel parades during the rain
    Which characters come out, etc.

I would ask what is going on with DCA? (I wanted to ask Eisner this question at the shareholder's meeting too.)

I would thank CM Matt for the paint (since he will take credit for that) and the improvements currently being done.

I would like to ask about the People Mover track and share why Great Moments with Mr. Licoln should come back!

    Dear Disney Execs,
Thank you very much for the recent park rehab. We all know how sorely it was needed. You've done a brilliant job. I'm especially happy with the attention being paid to Tomorrowland. You're headed in the right direction. The purple and bronze color scheme was hideous. One suggestion, however. We can all go the market and buy a dozen weiners and a bag of 10 buns for about 3 bucks. I'm sure you are getting an even better deal through bulk buying. I think it's a little harsh to ask $7 for a 25 cent hotdog. We all expect theme park and other event food to be a little pricey, but there are limits. I'd bet you would actually sell more if you attenuated the prices a bit. (It worked for Henry Ford.) It just kind of puts a damper on the magic when you feel you're being gouged.

^So, true, feeling gouged ruins the magic. I have to say that I purposly try not to spend much $ in the parks because I don't like feeling ripped off. I would probably spend more if the prices were lower. I know,I know...I'm dreaming...

There have been many postive changes tho', and I see more on the horizion(If Iger doesn't get in the way...)

Since the OP didn't say anything about being park-specific...

Quit making crappy movies! Who thought that "Home on the Range" was of the same caliber as "Beauty and the Beast"? Yes, Pirates was great. There was one exception. Learn a lesson from Pixar. Their movies aren't good because they're CGI - they're good because of some absolutely amazing writing! If you produce one turkey every year you will not get the return you would get from 1 "Beauty and the Beast" or "Aladdin" quality movie every 2-3 years. Be the company that was the powerhouse of the early '90s instead of the joke of the mid-2000s.

O.K., enough ranting. Ummmmm, good job on putting some money into getting Disneyland back up to snuff. The place looks great - just keep it that way. Now if it was possible to the same with animation...

Well, in the case of Eisner, I'd probably get escorted out of the park for spitting on him and pointing out his gross incompetence in public. For Iger, I'd have a mental list of demands I'd try to politely throw at him, but would get so passionate about it, I would end up getting mad & he'd think I was nuts!

I agree that they would have seen decay or heard complaints earlier, but the point of not going is so they don't have to get confronted with their own mistakes...
