    A food question...

All righty! Quick question for those who are much more familiar with Downtown Disney than I am. Which restaurants are open for breakfast? Any recommendations from anyone? Best dishes even?

I believe Catal is now serving breakfast also.

Rainforest Cafe serves a decent breakfast, though they have a limited menu. We've been there a few times, and I enjoyed it.

Catal Uva Bar (the section downstairs) serves breakfast. We've been there a few times as well and have enjoyed that too.

We've only done take-out breakfast from La Brea, but it was decent.

Great! Thanks so much for everyone's advice. I've never done breakfast in Downtown Disney before and I was wondering which one served the best.

Rainforest Cafe has Tonga Toast for breakfast, which is a favorite at WDW's Polynesian Resort. It's sort of a cinnamon french toast stuffed with bananas. Supposedly it's a little different here than at WDW, but it still sounds interesting.

We ate at the La Brea Bakery for breakfast and it was awful. We paid 12.95 for pancakes and that was all we got, 2 ordinary pancakes, nothing with it. No fruit or eggs nothing. The coffee was also overpriced and horrible. The cinnamon roll was just ok. I would not go back there again.

    La Brea Bakery Sucks!!

The coffee is horrible, the service is slow and disorganized and the food is nothing but mediocre and overpriced....

Whitewater Snacks is located by the pool in the Grand Californian. They have an awesome breakfast burrito and french toast dippers, and something else...like an egg croissant sandwich. Really good value and a lot of food, free refills on your coffee. I highly recommend it. Enough breakfast means you can push lunch off til later, or just have a snack and then a bigger dinner.

(I know it's not technically IN Downtown Disney, but it's worth going a little bit out of the way to get there.)
    A signature should go here.

Brennan's Express offers beignets, and if you've never had them, you don't know what you're missing.

    All right, I'm officially HUNGRY!!
So glad to know to stay away from La Brea. I am thinking the tonga toast sounds like a go. God that stuff is FAB! But I have always been a fan of the Jazz Kitchen. Their crab cakes and that incredible red velvet cake they sometimes have is to die for.
    Yes... officially... hungry
