You are my hero. That is amazing. If only I had the time and the creativity.

Re: Lego Disney Part 2

Wow, this is just amazing! I had seen the pictures of your display from last year, but this is just as amazing if not more so. I have to ask though, where did you get all of the different color bricks? There are some in there that are very uncommon, like lime green? As a kid, I used to dream about building a lego Disneyland, and if I had enough legos, I would have! You've visualized that dream for me, though. I like the fact that you took some liberties to fit into the space, like switching City Hall and the Fire Station to the other side so people could see them.

You really should be working for either Lego or Disney. Somebody could use your talents!!

Re: Lego Disney Part 2

Simply amazing! I so wish Disney and Lego would make sets to buy. I love Star Wars Legos, but I would trade them all for Disneyland Legos.

Definitely, an excellent job; but flawless? No.
1. The DL Railroad train is going in the wrong direction.
2. Small World isn't next to the Main Street Station.
3. No Dapper Dans...or is this post March 25th?

Approximately 13,000 people attended the show.

I am planning to have portions of this set up at this years Calgary Exhibition and Stampede, held over 10 days in early July.

Things to look for in the photos include a candle in window of the Fire Station; Disney Characters, including Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Peter Pan, Mr. Smee, Captain Hook, Belle, Snow White and 2 dwarfs, Cinderella, Ariel and Tinkerbell. Also look for several of the old time "whitewing" custodians, the Walt and Mickey statue "Partners". Hard to tell in the photos, but It's a Small World also featured moving gears and the tick-tocking face.

This display also featured audio tracks playing area music from around the park. Crowd pleasers included the Main Street Electrical Parade, as well as It's a Small World.
Omg i will so be there just to see this and i hate stampede lol

Re: Lego Disney Part 2

Amazing. Now, for next year, you need to build the castle in a way that you can do fiber optic lighting and light the castle different colors and such.

Re: Lego Disney Part 2

Seriously show these pictures to the people at the lego store in Downtown Disney. I am sure they would definately offer you a nice payment to have that display in their store. Same goes for World of Disney. I would love to see these in person.

Re: Lego Disney Part 2

Wow! I wish I had the time and attention span to do that! If I did I'd make a whole model of Disneyland, but it took you 10 months, I'm probaly slower than you, and the project is harder. So, I won't do that (or at least not anytime soon).

Well, congrats, you were excellent!!!
