It was pretty packed today, CM at the Fantasyland Mad Hatter warned that Easter Sunday should hit capacity......

Last I heard it was 80,000.

Capacity at the parks is a number that is always in flux.... it is based on attractions open, and open space in the parks. (Fire Marshall rules).... It has been as low as under 70,000, but with most attractions open, it is closer to 80,000 (if not a bit higher)... Now, when Space Mountain is open, and all other attractions are up and running without any major construction, we should get close to 85,000, though it might be less depending on the current Anaheim Fire rules...

Does anyone know if attendance is up on average over last year? If so, I think Matt Ouimet and team deserves a lot of credit for the increase.

We spent last week at the Parks and were happy that the crowds were about at a moderate level. As we were checking out of the DL Hotel friday (after a fine breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen), the Bellmen were going crazy with a long line of cars waiting to pull in and unload. We were happy to get the heck out of there at that point...

Our next trip is in June. I don't even want to think about the crowds then.
