It's not too surprising IMHO- mostly what we have been hearing about already. But it will be cool to see it freshened up a little.

Well the article keeps a few things pretty vauge and I think he left one or two things out
Wow, sounds awesome. I am loving all these improvements throughout the park!
What'd really like to know is how much of this is matt's doing (rehab of Tiki, upgrades in the HM and the big changes at the JC). I just can't see the previous mgmt team doing stuff like this. A rotten Tiki room and run down JC with some gold paint is all I would have expected from them.

Why do they want to try to seperate the Jungle Cruise from Indiana Jones Adventure?![]()
from what I hear they just want to keep tourists out of view of the cruise so that you feel more isolated, nothing wrong with thatOriginally Posted by Kram Sacul
It was very odd that is why. What does the JC have to do with Indy? I think that if they get rid of that you will feel more immersed like your in a ride.Originally Posted by Kram Sacul
I'm really excited about this! He left out a few spots though. I wonder if thats beacuase those areas are not being updated, or if he is keeping a few suprises.
That may be all they have time and money to do for now. They are fighting a majoy deadline with this.Originally Posted by Formerly Code V
Im not complaing. I would have been happy with some paint and new jokes!
exactly...and I don't think everything has to necessarily change. I'm sure the other scenes will have a general cleaning-up and repainting, and coupled with the changes listed, this should feel like newOriginally Posted by ni_teach
I can't help but think some of these ideas are perhaps coming from what they are doing with Hong Kong Disneyland's Jungle Cruise.

I'M GOING TO YALE!!!!!!!
yea im sure some of the new audio animatronic figures are duplicates of the ones being built for Hong Kong which isnt a bad thing since im not going to hong kong anytime soon. Similarly, our new Space Mountain will include effects from both the new Paris "mission 2" version and the hong kong space mountain as well as some exclusive features to our park.
As long as I still get to see the backside of water I will be happy.
It's like i'm talking to a monkey, a really really big stupid monkey named Kronk.
This all sounds so exciting! I wonder what this "new and interactive effect" will be for the python?
Hail Matt Ouimet, the savior of Disneyland!
Indeed a very vague article, but a promising look at the new JC.
I am glad to hear that emphasis in separating JC and Indy are focusing on the queue. I've always thought that was awkward. As for the Temple being a part of the jungle... I've always thought it looked cool!
