I can not get a Priceline room for the 8-11th! Is there something big going on at the park, arrowhead, or the convention center?
I believe the somewhat rennovated Haunted Mansion opens back up.

Oh, you are right, the 9th is the first day back up. Do you think that many people are going for that to hog all the hotel rooms?
well, the rehab says it opens back up on the 10, and no, I serously doubt anyone will hog the hotel rooms for such a small thing.

Disneyland.com says that it is no longer "closed for refurbishment" starting on the 9th
Spring Break starts March 10th, and a lot of schools have the next week off.
Angel Stadium is hosting games of the new World Baseball Championship from March 12th thru the 16th.
The combination of the two is making Anaheim a VERY busy place.

Anaheim Convention Center Event Schedule
According to the Anaheim Convention Center schedule, there is a trade show from 03/07 - 03/09 and then there is also the Big West Basketball Tournament going on from 03/08 - 03/11 and another smaller convention on 03/10 - 03/11. The trade show and the small convention seems to be a smaller group (only taking up a few rooms) but if the tourney is for all of the Big West then that is probably why its booked.
I was just going to say it's most likely the Big West B-ball tourney. D.D.D. beat me to it.

Disney's Shareholder meeting takes place at the Arrowhead Pond on 3/10- you can bet that's a contributing factor.

The current CM reference guide lists HM as reopening March 11, as it has since January.

Stay at a hotel that's a little farther away which offers a shuttle service to DL, like the Knott's Resort Hotel or some of the hotels in Garden Grove.

So you know I'll be that Resort wearing my birthday sticker very proudly and getting my free package of Tortillas at California Adventure, LOL!!
Oh my gosh! I can't believe I have planned a trip on such a busy weekend. The kids all have stuff they are supposed to be doing at school too....but I can't really cancel, my cousin has already booked her flights, room, etc., and I am supposed to be showing her a good time. Sounds like what I'll be showing here is A VERY CROWDED PARK!!
