WANTED: Temporay Help in Case of Strike

ORDDU: With all this talk about a possible strike at Disneyland, my sisters and I thought it might be a nice idea for all of us on MiceChat to start considering how we could all help out and temporarily fill the positions that may become vacant. (And in case you happen to be a cast member, we sincerely hope you won't take offense over our postings, here, because the REAL purpose is to simply find out what 'dream jobs' at Disneyland those of us who never get to work there have secretly longed to have.)

ORWEN: Well, I've always wanted to be a princess, myself. The idea of walking around the park--wearing a tiara--while also posing for pictures in the company of a handsome prince at my side, well, what better way to get a date every day you're on the job?

ORGOCH: Fat chance a that ever happenin', sister! Anyways, what I wanna' do is be one a them underwater maint'nance guys--ya know--the one's that gits ta dress up in them funny lookin' frog suits so's they can go inta the Rivers of America ta fix pipes 'n the like. If'n I could do that, bet I'd find myself all kinds a slimy critters ta throw in the cauldron fer lunch!! Heck! I'd never go hungry agin!!

ORDDU: For me the best dream job would be that of Hostess for the Blue Bayou--where I could offer my best smile to all the best looking hunks with money. After all, if they can afford to EAT there it must mean they have money to spend on me--after I've enticed them with my good looks or at least dropped a potion or two in their food to MAKE them want me...

ORWEN: I just never realized how much talent the 3 of us have!!

ORGOCH: An' I just never re'lized how stupid the two of ya's was ta think Dizzyland would hire either one of ya ta begin with!! Wake up an' smell the potion, sisters! Hirin' either one of ya's would make the dang GUESTS go on strike!!!

ORDDU: So, what's YOUR Disneyland 'dream job', duckling?

Actually, I plan on auditioning for the summer. *crosses fingers*

Jungle Cruise Skipper, here I come. Over there is the first sign of danger--no, it's not Michael Eisner...

Of course I would love to be Sorceror Mickey in Fantasmic!... but Peter Pan would be cool. I'm red-headed in winter (the lack of sun makes it dull, in summer I'm blonde) and I have a pale complexion so I would fit right in... but am I too tall at 6ft?

Would anyone really want to be a strikebreaker or a 'scab'? Not really the best type of summer work ...

What about just showing your support to the employees?

If one wanted to be a character, I don't think they go under the same contract as those who might be facing a strike...that's why I'm not planning on possibly going into Attractions.

Well I planned on applying to attractions when I turn 18 in 2 weeks.

Entertainment doesn't have a union. ._.
