    3/3/06 Trip Report

Well, yesterday couldn't have been a better day for an afternoon/evening Disneyland visit! The rain had stopped by the time Bailey and I arrived at 3pm. There were no lines for the parking structure, the bag check or the ticket booth!

We met Wolfy999 and Wolfette on Main Street, where they had been given about 20 balloons by some passing cast members! Seeing as how one balloon per girl was plenty, Bailey and the Wolfette passed out the rest to the kids who were waiting in the Central Plaza for POD.

The longest line we waited in all day was for Peter Pan and that was only about 15 minutes! Space Mountain only had a 30 minute wait the entire evening.

    More pictures to follow...

We saw TheBob working at HISTA, and ran into Deogge's Mom and another MC'er (sorry, I forget your name) at Bengal BBQ. We all (not TheBob) rode Pirates, I took lots of pictures, about half of which turned out decent. Sorry again about the flash ladies.... but I HAD to get pictures before the changes!!!

Next post will have some of my best pirate pictures.....

Wolfy introduced Bailey and I to the Hearthstone Lounge where we enjoyed hot chocolate and Peppermint Patties and the relaxed by the fire at the GCH lobby.

A second trip on Space and a visit to the 50 Magical Moments finished off one of the best Disneyland visits I've ever had!!!

Thanks to the Wolf ladies! We had a blast, can't wait to do it again!!!!!

Yesterday was the greatest! I got on every ride at Disneyland and that was in a 3 hour time span. Indy only had a 15 minute wait and Fantasyland was all walk ons! The only bummer was no Block Party Bash as it had rained just before they were to start and the streets were too wet.

When I came into work yesterday and was crossing Main Street, there were SO many characters out!

Belle in her blue dress... Prince Phillip, Aladdin in his Sultan gear, Jasmine, Goofy, and some others too! I had never seen so many characters on Main Street!

Oh man, Bailey would have loved to see Belle in her blue dress! We've never seen her in that!

BTW melmel, we stopped by BB to see if you were around, but didn't see you.

I rarely work BB anymore. I'm at a new, wonderful, fantastic location, which most guests don't get to visit>

We saw Belle in her blue dress, when we entered Main Street, just sitting on a bench by herself....if Wolfette hadn't noticed her, I would have just thought she was another strangely dressed guest!

Hey Anders and I were there last night too! The lines were super short...We took a picture of the board that showed a wait time of 10 minutes for Space Mountain...And 45 minutes for Roger rabbit's Car Toon Spin. Go figure!

    Re: 3/3/06 Trip Report

Sorry we missed you guys. Friday was the best, as the rain drove away the crowds in the morning. We got soaked from the knees down as we had ponchos. I forgot that the disney streets become small rivers when it rains hard.

I would SWEAR I saw Anders...or some guy that looked just like him later in the day. We also saw a bazillion characters out as we were waiting for the parade to start in front of the castle...Belle, Fairy Godmother (have never seen her outside of a parade), Captain hook, Goofy, Snow White Queen, two cinderellas, Mulan, and all of these were before the parade began.

We did Monsters Inc 3x's as the lines were so low. The first time = NO LINE! We walked on around 10:15 am, and decided to go again because the line was still short. Same thing with Soarin. This was also the first time my son was brave enough to sit in the front on Space. I think we'll always wait for the first car now as the front row is awesome!

And for the first time ever on a weekend, we hauled butt out of the park after the fireworks and WALKED ON TO THE TRAM with no line! WOOO HOOO ! Not sure what the attendance figures were like on Friday, but they had to be down overall. Park hopping was also very easy, with the only real line forming back into DL following the block party.

Let's hear it for the rain!
