I'm not afraid of any of the rides at DL, but there are rides I don't go on because they aren't any good, like the ones in Fliks Fun Faire, Zephyr and Orange Stinger
I have a real problem with ToT. When I rode the one in WDW, I was fine for several visits. Then, on the last visit I made with my family there, I sat next to my Dad. Now, my Dad is overweight and, at the time, I was really super tiny. And, at the time, the ride didn't have the individual seatbelts like I'm told it does now. It had the big long bar that went over everyone's laps.
Because of our size ratio, the bar didn't reach my lap. It came close though so I didn't think anything of it. By the time we made the drops, I had both my arms wrapped tight around the bar and was pulling myself so close to the seat that the resulting picture looks like I'm trying to pickpocket the guy in front of us.
Needless to say, I haven't been back on the ride since. And that was about 5 or so years ago. It was about another 3 years or so before my husband and I made it back to a Disney park.
And it wasn't until after our trip February '05 that I found out that the seats have individual belts now. I'm willing to give it a try. Maybe.
Oddly enough, I can handle the swinging gondolas on the Sun wheel okay. I completely flip out while on it, but I hold no ill will toward the ride. I'm willing to get on it again. And the Orange Stinger is nothing but fun!
Maliboomer? No thanks. I went on the Big Shot on the Stratosphere in Vegas... talk about migraine city. Ugh.
Just about anything else, I'm game for. Screamin' is one of my favorite coasters that loops. I feel so safe in that and RRC. And MadMouse is fun!![]()
I will go on every ride - but I absolutely can't stand Mullholland Madness. The feeling of falling of the track just gives me the heebie jeebies. But, my kids love it, so I suffer through it.
Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!
Dude, Disneyland is filled with ghosts. I know of at least two in the Opera House, and there are plenty in the rest of the park.Originally Posted by claribella

OH yes, Mulholland Madness I will NOT do. I get VERY car sick and that ride makes me SUPER carsick. I think its the sharp turns.
Out of sheer protest, I will not ride Winnie the Pooh. I rode it once at WDW and was so upset they took out Toad for *that*, I refuse to ever go on it again. No matter where it is.
Not like I'm a Pooh fan anyway.
You're missing out, man! That ride is soooo trippy. The fact that you are confronted with six foot tall versions of the characters when you emerge from the ride makes the whole thing even trippier. If we'd had time, I would have gone on it again, but I had a quota to make.Originally Posted by TraceCub
Then again, I'm biased. I'm a huge Pooh fan.
I do hear that it pales in comparison to the Tokyo one, though...
the swinging bucket on the ferris wheel and most of the stuff at flicks fun fair, its just to cheesy to be disney. other than that, there is really nothing i don't like going on. except star tours, only because i get motion sickness in it and i dont like to get sick at disneyland.
All of DCA
