Mickey hot air balloon coming to Disneyland?

I just read a story in the Orange County Business Journal that said Disney would be launching a Mickey Mouse hot air balloon with golden ears on it in April.Does anyone know anthing about this happening and will it be leaving from Disneyland?

it was actually in ouimett's speech in the community relations event. he talked about a hott air balloon..i THINK he said...traveling the entire west coast? sort of cool. it's a mickey head with golden ears on his head.

I don't think this will be the first Mickey head hot air balloon for Disneyland. I remember seeing a clip of a very nice balloon in the shape of Mickey's head flying above 60s era Disneyland somewhere.

It'll be going across the country. All the major cities. And Anaheim too. Itll probably make a pass by Glendale and Burbank too. heh.

sounds like they dusted off ear force one and added golden ears. I loved ear force one.

I have seen the old Mickey balloon a whole bunch. They always showed it on the TV coverage of the WDW Easter parades. I think they had a Donald Duck balloon, too.

I doubt that they "dusted" ear force one off as it was decommissioned years ago. I guarantee that it is a brand new balloon!

I am not sure who mfg it but there is a good chance that Cameron Balloons did.
