    Happiest Faces on Earth

How many people have submitted pictures for the Happiest Faces on Earth portion of Disneyland's 50th Anniverary celebration? Are you excited to see wheere your pictures will go? Do you think they will use all of your photos? Did you submit hard copies or digital pictures?

I submitted around three dozen digital pictures just before the end of the year. I would love to be able to go through my photo box to find some older pictures to submit. There are a lot of great pictures sitting out in my garage that I know would look good in the mosaics.

For those of you who have not heard of this, please visit the website for more information.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

I've tried three times to upload pix to the www site...keeps failing (and no, they're not too big). I guess I'll have to get PRINTS (oh, brother) and drop them off this weekend...

    See ya

I had the same problem. They have a limit on the combined KB of the pictures you send to them at one time. What I did to avoid this was limited each submission to three pictures at a time.

Please keep trying to send them in. Once the mosacis are up, we will have to share our picture locations.

I dropped some off. They asked for 5, I gave them 5. I gave pics of my niece. They were funny.

I sent in 5 pics via the website. They were all recent pics, well within the last 6 years or so. I wish I had the time to get some of my really old ones in there.

I too have participated... About six pics in all via their website. I did not encounter any problems at all. I can't imagine any of us self-respecting Disneyland Geeks not to join in!

I sent in a couple. I doubt they would be used; I just recently scanned some older pics of my sisters and myself at Disneyland from early 80's if I still have a chance I should submit those in as well.

I sent in 10 pictures through the website. All of them were old pics I scanned in. (One of the pics was from inside Club 33, though I doubt they'll use them.) Was anybody else annoyed at how much info they wanted for each pic? I mean, in half my pictures I was 10 ir younger. How am I gonna know the date it was taken?

I'm curious to see how these turned out. Is every picture going to be different (they probably got enough) or is the same picture going to be used over and over in the same picture?

I hope it's the former. The sample "Be the twinkle in Mickey's eye" image shows a sample that follows the latter. If it's the latter, I can't believe they managed to make a whole promotion out of buying a copy of Arcsoft PhotoMontage and a flatbed scanner. And they already owned the scanner.
