What is your Disneyland tradition?

Just curious, I don't really have one except for the fact that I always must have a frozen banana, then ride splash mountian. So actually that may count as a tradition. Also right after PotC I need my Clam chowder bread boule. They don't give you much chowder but it is SO good.

So enlighten me on your traditions.....if you have any.

Wow - so many to chose from. My son has had his picture taken in the A in Calfornia for the last 5 years ( I guess that one's going to change). And we used to always ride the train first, but early entry botched that one. But, we always get a pineapple spear and do the Tiki Room the first night. Then, for dinner we try and go to Mimi's.

You know I walk by that friut cart, and see the pinapple, but never once have I stopped to get one. They look really good too.

And we always ride Haunted Mansion in the morning and the again when it's dark outside. Same with BTMR.

Go early Sunday AM, roll around the park. Maybe ride HM or IASW or POTC (or all). Maybe take a photo or video or two. Meet other MC'ers at noon at the HUB, visit, have lunch, go home.

Yep, short Visit, but DL (to me) is at least as much about people and friends and socialization as it is about the place.

I live in Dallas and don't get out that often, but when I arrive in SoCal in the afternoon, the first thing I do is hit the train. It used to be more special with Thurl Ravenscroft's voice, but it's still way cool to kinda plug into the vibe of the West Coast!

Ok, in the heat of the summer and after standing in lines most of the morning, I head over to POtC then go to the frozen lemonade stand outside HM and get a cherry lemonade to drink in line at the HM. (they always tell me I must finish it before I go in... duh!)
I do this almost always, not just in the summer. I also have my nephew craving the cherry lemonade.

The other thing that I almost always do (which I recently started) is to get a dark choc. covered strawberry and eat it right before, or after the fireworks! It makes my day and gives me a little choc. rush for the ride home. (I need something to keep me awake after midnight!)

Disneyland for my birthday! This year will be the third year of renewing the annual pass and staying at the Grand Californian for a weekend. I've already made my reservations...and it's not until November! Still, I can't wait.

Also, I'm hoping to make Candlelight a yearly tradition. We went for the first time last year and it was wonderful. Definitely worthy to be a Holiday tradition.

When-I-was-a-little-kid-with-my-parents-tradition:
Always ALWAYS ride Star Tours first!

Now-I'm-a-college-student-with-my-girlfriend-tradition:
Indiana Jones, fireworks, and collapsing in the lobby of the Grand Californian (preferrably in front of the fireplace) before driving back.

Play Disney music as I enter the parking structure.
Call the tram the first ride of the day.
Take a picture of us on the tram.

Take another pic of us on the tram, on our way back from the partk.
Play the ELP music (TMBG version... it's all I have) as I'm leaving the parking structure.
Everyone in the car holds their hands up and says "Wheeeee" as we go down the parking ramp.

Inside the park, nothing really. I go often enough that there's usually not one thing I HAVE to do or something I MUST eat.

It used to be to view the Fantasy Waters show, but that is another story, Now a tradition for me is to just ride every ride there is to ride at Disneyland, Except for Adventures of Winnie the Pooh!

Going when I'm sick. Well not really a tradition, but it seems that I tend to get sick the night before, and I push myself to go, and it has been that way for a couple of times.

Probably the order of attractions, stemming from ever visit since I've been born. I've been making a clockwise loop starting in Adventureland, New Orleans Square, Critter Country, Frontierland, Fantasyland, lunch, Tomorrowland, break, Toontown, the redo anything I want..Even if I take friends or relatives, I don't break order as it is a tradition I keep.
