    Early Entry

Is early entry still available to hotel guests, or isthat promotion over? I'll be at the Disneyland Hotel next month and was curious.

I may be wrong about this, but I don't think they've done early entry for a long time... Anyone know for sure?

I don't know about the hotels, but the Park Hoppers I got in the mail last week say that the ticket includes 1 early entry.

Yep, when you book a package through WDC (or AAA/WDC) for one of the on property hotels (or one of the good neighbor hotels) you get a day early entry.

Which is a pretty good way to cover the Fantasyland stuff.

    Re: Early Entry

Actually, buying a 3 day or more Bonus ParkHopper (most Advance Purchase PH's) gets you one day of Early Entry.

The second way to get Early Entry is to stay at one of the three Disney owned hotels (DLH, PPH or GCH) and show your Room Charge Slip at the Early Entry Turnstiles during the dates of your stay, you may attend multiple Early Entrys, so long as they occur during your stay. This option has not been officially advertised and could end at any time.

Currently Early Entry is offered four days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. (Some changes in June due to Grad Nites and the Pirates Premiere).

The gates open one hour prior to the posted opening, so just get in the turnstile area that is clearly marked Early Entry about 15 minutes earlier than that.

Most of Fantasyland is available, as are Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear and the Astro-Orbitor in Tomorrowland. (All subject to delayed openings due to mechanical issues). The rest of the park is off limits until the official park opening.

    Re: Early Entry

Early entry is currently being done. When it goes away is usually in the off season, but due to the recent high attendance for the 50th it has continued non-stop since the start of the celebration.

Early entry days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The park opens one hour prior to the regular scheduled time.

Last week on Thursday we did a rope opening where Main Street is open
"to the rope" 1-1/2 hours early (i.e. park is scheduled to open at 9am, Main Street opens to the rope at 7:30am) "To the rope" basically opens Main Street as far as Photo Supply with a few of the shops being open. I've been told we are going to do this on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday only. I'll find out for sure tonight.

    Re: Early Entry

Can you take the Monorail in early on early entry days? Or do you have to go to the main gate for early entry?

    Re: Early Entry

    You CAN take the Monorail.

Edit....but not the extra half hour early for a rope opening. Rope openings are only through the Main Gate. You can still take the Monorail on any of the Early Entry days but it will only start running one hour early.
