well the dragon can't reallly change because then there is no cool pyro effects and them i am out one really cool job!!!

When I was little I thought that the whole dragon was there, full body and all. I think it would be hard to replace or to add anything to it since it is heavy enough already(?) I agree, more draping plz. The head looks like it's floating from the side.

Well, it's really zoomed in, so from where people stand, it does look like that.. and you can't really change it, the head has to be able to rise and lower very fast, and too much stuff on the dragon will make that harder! Also, a full body wouldnt work because the dragons head rises at one point, and that'd just look weird..

The dragon was looking a little scarey (in more ways than one) last week when we saw the show. New draping would help...

Wait and see if OLC will ever make a Fantasmic and make a new dragon model, I guess. They seem to update their entertainment offerings constantly so one of these days....

Hmm... I think based on the logistics of the show, it would be near impossible to change the dragon into anything else other than a "head on a stick" with some drapes to cover it.

In a perfect world, I would think this would be the opportunity for imagineering to come up with the largest audio-animatronic ever built. I remember in some of the disneyland commercials before the 50th campaign, they had some stock footage for the fantasmic show and I distinctly remember it showing a dragon with a body and a purple belly (i think this is what you remember ChiiDesu). If it was possibly to recreate this version of the dragon for the actual show, it would be pretty awesome!

I would do some sort of a ribbed outercoating with dragon scales painted on it... that way, it would drape down, creating the illusion of his (her) belly.
