Google satellite view of DL Question

So I'm sitting here bored at work and I was checking out the satellite view of DL on google maps and I wondered what year was this taken? I know it was before the 50th because of the mickey flowers just past the main gate and I know it was after ToT was built but does anyone have a better guesstimate?

one hint.. look at space mountain... notice the new whote roof mixed with the old rusted colored roof.... that should give a good time frame...

Wasn't it was painted around October 2003?

Look closely and notice the new carousel roof, the Buzz construction wall, the old slurry pavement by the Monorail station and all the way up around the Matterhorn, the Luminaria barge in Paradise Bay, the Christmas decorations strung across the Golden Gate Bridge and Main Street (you can see both in the shadows) and the red Santa hat on top of the Hollywood Pictures Backlot water tower.

The picture must have been taken around November or December 2003 because the castle was not painted and either was Space Moutain. Plus the Christmas decor was up.

According to terraserver-usa.com (which has the same photo, as does Google Earth), this photo was taken March 29, 2004.

It couldn't have been taken in March. You can clearly see the shadows of those Christmas decorations- even the large tree in Town Square.

I've wondered about that before, DisneyMickey. Doesn't make much sense, does it? There are definitely holiday decorations still up.

So what do we know?

Space Mtn. half white
Xmas stuff up
There is no one in any of the pools
No lines at entrance or ticket booths
The sun is low and from the SW (evening?)
More cars leaving than arriving
Both parks are open (but not too crowded)
Is the Mark Twain in dry dock?
Why is there a large clump of people just NW of the hub?
DTD self park lot is full

if you go a little more south you will see TOT still under constuction. Looks like it is close to being done. Still a lot of trucks around the tower at the time this shot was taken.

So we are talking early 2004 or late 2003 since the tower opened in May of 2004.

There is a wall up around Tortilla Joe's - January

The Mark Twain is still in dry dock

By January 29th 2004 Space Mtn. was TOTALLY WHITE.

IASM was closed Jan 12-25, but I think it looks open in the photo.
