Re: New TL ride building possiblity idea...

I voted for the idea. Yes, I agree that the original Dinosaur is lacking. But the theme is still good. It was just poorly executed in DAK. Now Disney can do it right.

As long as they take a fresh look at the concept, it could be a great ride. Dinosaurs are still hot. Walt Disney was WAY ahead of everyone when he did the original Diorama. Now people want more thrills. I think that with some Disney magic, it could be very well done.

Sometimes you have to give a second chance to an idea.

Oh yeah, I definately agree DINOSAUR has much potential. But you just can't see a darn thing in the actual ride. It's just a motion simulator in the dark, really. And this one Carnotaur's roar where they take your picture was just WAY TOO LOUD. It was like going to a concert! They just need to put more stuff in so you can actually see something.

Still, I'd rather see the Journey tech come to DLR's TL. We already have Indy for DINOSAUR's ride tech.

And to top it all off - how on earth would a Dinosaur themed ride fit into Tomorrowland? I guess they'd just go with the "time machine" theme of Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom? Give me a break.. what an easy cop-out and such a tacky thing to ever consider adding... That's more reason why I have issues believing that it was a serious consideration for DL's Tomorrowlnad...

What if instead of elevators themed as transporters, it's a hallway themed as a portal (ala Stargate). Maybe try to get the rights to make this a Stargate attraction. (Note: someone suggested Stargate, I forgot who).
