Can't offer opinions on DCA or the Grand Californian, but I think I'm out of luck when it comes to places to regularly eat around the park since they tore out the Monorail Cafe. Not only was it one of the few restaurants in the park in the affordable league, but unlike the others in that small category, it was indoors with heating/AC.
Looking forward to trying out Storyteller's this year!
I can't belive that no one has mentioned the Vineyard Room. While it is EXPENSIVE, the service is friendly and the food is really quite good. Jeff, Mark, and Annie are the best servers in the world and so nice.
This best food by far is at the Napa Rose in the Grand Californian. This is no amusement park food, but gourmet all the way. The Vintner's Table is their version of the chef's tasting menu and has never dissappointed. At $65, it is a bargain. Add the wine sampler, and you'll have the best meal you can get for $100.
Okay, las t time I gave the places I like to eat whenever I am there. IMHO the best place to eat at DCA is The Vineyard Room. I ate there with my wife last June. It was amazing, but costly. So I wouldn't eat there every time.

Burr-bank Ice Cream - isn't that what it's called? Might have been the time, but that was the best tasting ice cream I'd ever had. The rest of the food seems okay, but didn't stand out. Apparently I'm not dining in the right locations.
