    C'mon rain!

Does anyone here go to DL in the rain? I never have, but if it's raining tomorrow, I'm sloshing to the park. Maybe that will eliminate the big crowds.

I have. It is fun if you are prepared. If you don't have a warm jacket, it is not very fun.

    Ahoy,

I have been there several times in the rain. The only problem is that they close some rides and many kiosks. Have fun and watch out for the puddles!

It's awesome! You just have to be prepared. Make sure you bring your own coat with a hood so you don't have to wear a stupid Mickey pancho. Bring a change of clothes (including undies and socks) and maybe even a dry coat for the ride home. Put them in a locker so you can change if you need to when the rain dies down. Make sure you drink hot cocoa or coffee to keep you warm from the inside!! And have a blast! It is wet but fun and the park is a new experience in the rain if you haven't done it before! Enjoy!!! (I wish I were going)

p.s. They most likely won't be showing the fireworks, so while all the other people are lining up on Main Street, take advantage of the short lines on rides!

yes, it is fun as long as you have leather topped shoes (not canvas or suede), a warm jacket that won;t soak up water (rain jacket), and umbrella and as we found out last time pants that do not drag the ground. My daughter were dragging and by the end of the day she was soaked up to her knees.

    Yeah, it's a blast!

Instead of the parade, you'll get to see Mickey's Rainy Day Cavalcade!

And people watching is at its best! Watching them try to avoid the puddles on Main St. by jumping from one puddle to a deeper one, while trying to stay dry. LOL. Most folks don't realize how deep it can get in such a short period of time.

And don't forget the rainy day must haves...Hot chocolate and a cinnamon roll!

    Enjoy!

I enjoy to go in the rain, people tend to go home early. Just take rain gear and don't forget to take time to warm up. The hotels or indoor rides are the easy choices.

Yeah, it's absolutely wonderful in the rain, but I will echo the sentiment of "be prepared." It's only fun if you can stay dry, so if there's even the threat of rain, bring a warm jacket and an umbrella.

    Re: C'mon rain!

Oh man I am soooo jealous! I have been there twice in the rain. Yes they close down some rides, but who cares right? I would ride them even so. My most fond memory of being young and there in the rain is that my Dad wouldn't buy me a poncho. He's a cheap *******, and he didn't want to spend the 7 bucks to have me look like everyone else there. Whats cool is I think that GRR is still open in the rain. Oh man I so want to go. I hate you all that live close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!
