Anyone seen Maynard lately?

Has anyone seen Maynard lately? I missed seeing him as Tikiboy! Heard he was now doing Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. Really wish I can see him doing his schtik as Tikiboy! Any news?

The last time I saw him was way back in the beginning of October. He was skippering on JC. I asked if he could skipper a boat for us, as my friend had not yet had the pleasure of experiencing a Maynard skippered JC.

With a sad look on his face, he told us that he was bound to the script.

Last time I saw him was at Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln last September. He said he isn't allowed to act crazy there, he has to be boring. Which was sad, that was the first time I met him. I wanted to get his autograph in our disney book, but I left it up in the room...bumer

I saw him last year at The Haunted Mansion during the Holiday Makeover. He was stationed at the Fast Pass locationl What a total waste of talent. I also saw him once on Honey I Shrunk the Audience. He was inside at the front control booth and he was so funny. Playing with little finger puppets during his speil. The man is a genious at fitting in anywhere, but he is best INSIDE the HM. I thought the folks running the place now where more tuned in to who does the best job where, but I guess not. I know him pretty well from frequent meetings and he was not at all happy with the way he was being treated lately and was going to semi retire anyway.

The only time I've seen him there was near the beginning of November in 2003, working loading in the Haunted Mansion. We were walking towards a Doom Buggie, and he got in front of us and said "No, not that car..". He then pointed at the Buggie behind the one we were going to get on and said (in an ominous voice) "THIS car!", after which he proceeded to laugh maniacally and walk off.

He's on vacation due to attraction closers in his area. He is taking some time off. Will be back soon.

On vacation? Dang, will he be back in February? I'd love to run into him when I go... I need to get a picture with him and an autograph haha. He's genius. I've run into him a couple times... one time he went off on a long story about how he lives in the trashcans at Disneyland.... it was hilarious.

Coolness. I'll be there on Friday to have a look see around. Talked with another CM, Greg, who is an old friend of mine who works Main St. and Trains. Thanks for the info. Its great to hook up with old friends from my time in the trenches...thanks!
