Well, concept art isn't a final design, so it doesn't have to look terribly close at this stage. It might not end up looking terribly close; I know Disney didn't get the rights to the name The Black Pearl (no idea how close it can get cosmetically to the film's ship), and it's possible that they might not have gotten the rights to Geoffrey Rush's likeness.

I'm a little concerned about how the WDW version will compare to the DL version, but oh well. The plus side is that they can probably do more with the queue at WDW... maybe add Jack Sparrow's voice into the cave, or, here's an idea, have Barbossa and the rest of the crew discussing their plans to mutiny against Jack.
Also, one thing I don't get is in that one article, they keep mentioning Barbossa's parrot... he never HAD a parrot, he had a monkey. COTTON had a parrot.
I wonder if the moonlight will show Barbossa for what he really is (don't think they're quite at that level of technology, though).
