Where to eat a Birthday Meal

A friend of mine is taking one of her friends to DLR for her B-day, and they want know where the best places to eat are. I suggested the BB, a character meal, and to check out the hotels. But, I have not been to DLR in 3 years and am interested to get some suggestions to pass on.

It will be the first time in over 26 years since my friends friend made her last trip to DLR, so pretty much all these places will be new to her. That means all suggestions will be helpful. Thanks

BB is closed for a while, anywhere in disneyland would be awsome.

If's she's young at heart......Goofy's Kitchen is always fun for a Birthday. More serious kind of gal....try Granville's. Both are in the Disneyland Hotel.
Wants to spend a lot of money and have a meal to remember...Napa Rose at the Grand Californian. But yes anywhere is GREAT at the Disneyland Resort for a Birthday celebration!

What's the age of the B-Day girl?

If it is a kid, Goofy's Kitchen would be great.

If it's an adult. Rainforest Cafe would be fun (get the Volcano for dessert!).

Oh, and if you go to the Park, get a B-Day sticker from City Hall on Main St and also visit the tortilla factory in DCA and get a bag full of free tortilla's.

    Have fun!

I'm so mad they got rid of that wonderful Italian restaurant for that stupid Goofy's Kitchen!

Bear and I like to eat the chicken fettuccine at the Plaza Inn on the Terrace while watching the fireworks. Just plan on being there early, finding a table with a view of the castle and having a long leisurely dinner. (We also like to play nice and have people with lesser views sit with us or near us. It makes for some interesting dinner conversation.)

oooo.. I'm getting a birthday meal too at Disneyland. I know a lot of you did the thing at the Plazza Inn for MC's 1st birthday. How was that? I know it was fun, but I'd like more details. Most of what I heard/saw was cakes. Do you think it's worth the time/money?

    Or what about Ariel's Grotto?

Re: Where to eat a Birthday Meal

While it is a cute idea, I would advise against going to Plaza Inn for a Birthday unless the birthday person is very, very young. The cake frosting for the Build-a-cake thing is rather gross, and the Music is VERY repetitive(sp?). Anyone who attended Wolfette's B-Day party can vouch for this.

"Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday, Happy Happy Birthday to you." Repeat this x100, and you will almost begin to understand how bad their song choice is. o_O
