I think I am well aware of the show and when certain shells are missing. Oh yes and from I-5 north at around Chapman the fireworks are clearly visible to your left whether you want to pay attention to them or not. But thanks for trying to correct me.
I wasn't meaning to come off harsh. Please don't take it as a personal attack. I've just seen the fireworks too many times to know when something didn't go right. The Giant Mickey not firing... or slash shots missing from one side of the castle.
Maybe we all got our wish and they finally blew up ToonTown! Doubt it
Well instead of completely turning this into "my apology" thread, let's talk about the show. Why do you suppose the show stopped? Obviously there are a thousand little things that could to wrong with such an elaborate fireworks display.

Its shouldn't be about an apology... there was really no need for it. Minor misunderstanding between fellow micechatters.
Well it looked as though smoke was drifting south and back into the park. So I think it would be reasonable to cancel it for health and safety from perhaps the fallout. Chocking and subjecting guest to fiery debris wouldn't be a good thing.
Yes, the fireworks did get halted in the middle. And there WAS an announcement made that it was due to high winds. As for the real reason and what happened, that didn't filter back to us by the time my shift ended shortly thereafter.
It was high winds. Without really any warning, the winds shifted to the south (blowing toward the park) and at least doubled in speed. They held nearly five minutes before bringing the lights back up and making the announcement, probably hoping that the wind would do another freak shift in a more favorable direction.
I believe this is the first time that Remember has been cancelled mid-show. Am I correct in thinking that?

"It's okay, Beaker, we're scientists. We get paid to fail."

They can do a hold on the show without stopping it entirely? Wow. :P
//I mean they should be able to I'm just being obnoxious because it always bewilders me how fantasmic seems to be a runthrough or nothing and if they have to pause it or a sequence cue doesn't work they have to either start over or just call the show off
I once saw "Believe..." get stopped in mid show due to high winds about halfway through the show. The music just stopped suddenly and the lights came back on and everyone was looking around at each other and shrugging their shoulders wonderinf what was going on. Suddenly, the "GOD" voice come over the PA system and announced it was cancelled due to high winds. That was freaky.
