We always ran all 8 boats during peak times.

Funny, I hit the mountain range without using a fastpass!

I REALLY want to know where the queue will be. There isn't that much room between the lagoon and the horn, that if they were to make the line wrap the lagoon, there would be too much traffic in that area...(not like there isn't already!)

I'm so excited for the subs!

I haven't used a Fastpass for the mountains in like a year.

Great pics Darkbeer! Great updates as always. Just imagine if you'd been around for that one year prior to July 1955. What updates we would have had from you then.

(Of course we would also have needed digital cameras, computer chips and PC's, the Internet, MiceChat, and a Monorail, but why quibble?)

    YOU DA PERSON!!!

Re: All EIGHT Subs are out in the open, and Rock*It Mountain is confirmed

I have the "Extinct Attractions" DVD of the Submarine Voyage, and so I thought I would clock it, to see how long it used to take. From my best estimate, I would say it's going to take approximately 15 minutes from beginning of load to completion of unload. Somebody on this thread, or the other subs thread, said that they thought that each sub could carry 40 guest's. Based on 40 guest's per sub, 15 minutes per cycle, multiplied by 8 subs... that gives this attraction a capacity of 1280 guests-per-hour. That is a really low number, given that POTC and HM can both eat more than 2000 GPH! Even if they could tighten it up to 12 minutes per cycle, that would work out to 1600 GPH, which is better, but still light compared to other E-Ticket attractions.
I anticipate loooooooooong lines for this attraction when it opens!

OMG can someone PLEASE elaborate on this. I am now cmming to realzie this is NOT a layover and that Disney HAS sold some of the old AAs. So WHAT is left in there to make of a Nemo ride?? The Ship Graveyard? Atlantis? Volcano?? I mean they have to at LEAST make the outside portion look like the old ride again!

A lot of the old AA's for the sum were sold at auction. In fact, a fellow Micechatter has some of them in his backyard! What we WILL get is new show elements and basically a new ride in old wrapping

I am sure they only removed what wasn't necessary for Nemo. It's gonna be great!
