hmmmm, it would be nice to see an E ticket there, the whole kiddie park thing is constantly just being used as filler...sad really.

Rumor has a small area on the old thunder Ranch BBQ/FOF site will be turned into a dark ride thru woodys round up (riding HORSES). and a smaller family ride. (JHMEDIA SAYS A CRITTER CAROUSEL) Also a Prospectors Mine Walk Thru. Sounds cute and would liven up a dead section of the Park
Here's a Walt Disney quote worth mentioning in this thread:

"You're dead if you aim only for kids." ~ Walt Disney

He was right. Think on it: A Bug's Land, new Pooh attraction, Playhouse Disney show @ DCA, Toontown... Yeah, they're areas to take the kids to, but as an adult you'd wish you were somewhere else, like on an E ticket ride or at least something themed with adults and kids in mind.
This alleged WoodyLand isn't going to work, it'll be popular for awhile and then die down and be a ghost town area. Like I said before, kids only like what their parents are enjoying too, especially when they're young. (When they're teens, well that's a different story.)
Disney needs to throw some money at an E Ticket attraction in this area. It'll even the flow of guest traffic to this area that can accommodate lots of people. When they had the 'Festival of Fools' going, this area could hold a lot of people which made the rest of the park less crammed...

youknow even Teens find Roger Rabbit fun

Toontown isn't purly for kids you just have to stay on the side of it with da rides

and while I dunno if it needs an Eticket exactly a darkride that fit the western theme (not the western toy/fantasy theme) would work so much better

Western River Adventure would be nice

Western River Adventure would be great, but the economics won't be there.

They could turn the concept into an E ticket thrill ride with a few added things though...Some river rapids, a waterfall, a few flumes etc

Does anyone know if the Sherman Brothers did any concept music for this?

Wasn't there talk at one time about a Villians themed land and ride? (A dark shadowy street that leads to a coaster/dark ride combo...)

And Happy Birthday Darth! (Love the avatar! Does a brown trout sleep in your closet?)

No more petting zoo's back there please. No more Ranges, Ranches or Roundups. How about making use of that other R-word? You know...a ride? I'd be happy with C tkt. And something new and original, no knock offs.
Last time I was back there at thier current concept of the petting zoo, it was stinky and muddy and just nasty. Not my idea of what Disneyland is supposed to be.

I'm afraid most of this stuff was designed for a financial stronger period. These days it's all about making money it seems.

A woody land would be a terrible idea......just terrible. A whole land devoted to one character/movie is narrowsighted.
