    Roger Rabbit spinniness

Is it possible to ride the Cartoon Spin without spinning a whole bunch if you're with someone else who also doesn't want to? I'll be at DL on Wed-Fri and want to check it out, but won't if it's anything like the Tea Cups.

If you don't spin the wheel, you won't spin.

    You will turn, though.

Maybe they should call it Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Turn.

    It's too much effort anyway.

It's still a bit disorienting for anyone who isn't used to such motion.

As I say, I'm usually too lazy to keep the car in line with the steering wheel.

Has anyone ever managed to go all the way through keeping the car faced forward?

I think it's possible to do that, again I'm bone lazy, so I just enjoy the ride, whatever ol' which way.

I took me years to finally get on this ride because I was so afraid it would be like the teacups. I finally went on it by myself. You don't need to spin if you don't want to, but like someone said, it will turn you around. It did not bother me at all. That said, I've only waited in like to ride it maybe 2 or 3 times. It is an okay ride; not a great ride.

They made each room in Roger Rabbit to look great from any angle,
but it does make it more fun to turn your car, (even if just a little)
so you can see the whole room.

Yeah, you can turn the wheel slightly to get a different view of each room, but as long as you don't turn the wheel too much, you won't spin much... certainly not to the degree of the teacups.

I took my dad on this ride and I struggled the entire time to keep the car pointed straight. It's next to impossible, and the turning did make my dad a bit nauseous. Just a warning if you're ultra sensitive like he is.
