We went into bugs land around 7pm and all the attractions there had at least 3 or 4 cycles worth of waiting... madness!!

With all this talk of "off the shelf" and "on the back-burner" it seems the only thing that DCA is really missing is the kitchen sink!

Re: Disneyland and DCA packed today - Capacity reached

    Just got Back. WHOOOFF!!!

    Yeah. PACKED.

9:42pm- Leaving DTD I was determined to ride Haunted Mansion The crowds were intense but navicable for a person who knew how to. Getting into the park was easy at this time as the Fireworks were well underway and we made our way up Main Street.

The Hub was a tightly packed area with CM's moving the crowds around the Hub in a roundabout. We hitched a ride behind a hurried cast member and made it into Frontierland the fire works ended and we got caugh right in front of Pirates. The Fantasmic/Fireworks crowd dispersed and we were then let through to WALK ON to Haunted Mansion. We then sneeked over to Splash for a quick single rider ride (SM had a queue of 20 mins.) then, as the second Fantasmic was going on we left.

The crowds were heavy at this time and were mainly concerned with the Fireworks or Fantasmic. We made it back out to DTD and then the rain came.

Yeah it was busy but fun. Glad to be back home with a hot cup of tea with my honey.

Wow, DCA packed?! I hope this means that those placemaking projects get reinstated sooner than later. All the times I've been to DCA, I've never seen it NOT packed!!! There's always at least a 45 minute wait for Soarin' and I've never waited less than 30 minutes for California Screamin'.

ORDDU: Hope you're not sick by the time my sisters and I get to you next month, Dustysage, duckling. Otherwise we'll have to take certain matters into our own hands. Not to worry, though. We always pack a cauldron or two whenever we travel. We can boil and toil over a hot fire and brew up whatever sort of concoction it takes to bring you back to health--

ORGOCH: --'Course if'n ya'd rather find out what it's like ta be a frog--

ORDDU: --oh, contrare, sister dear. We never mess with hunks. We leave them just as they are. Remember that!!

My brother said yesterday they had the Indiana Jones line routed on top of the Jungle Cruise line by going up the stairs next to the Indiana Jones exit. It must be busy to need to do that!!!

When we left around 1 pm, they were parking at Buzz Lightyear (the old strawberry field south of Katella), and the signs said that DCA tickets have sold out. When we entered around 10:30, you literally could walk thru the Disneyland gates, while the DCA lines were past the California Letters.

Looks like the "Pay for Disneyland, get DCA for FREE!" offer is working on the last weekend day (the tickets MUST be used and finished by Thursday).

Disneyland was quite busy once you got into the park.

Photos are being uploaded as we speak.

(FYI, the Sub Lagoon is prety much empty of water.)

Of course many California Adventure bashers can't accept the fact that it hit capacity so we must resort to the get California Adventure free thing? The ticket states buy a ticket for one park and get the other free. Let's grow up.
