"May the Best Park Win" articles

    Hi all,

This probably isn't the right forum (I'm not sure which is) but I recall an old article here on Miceage that compared Disneyland with the other parks world wide (and if I recall DL won!) I for the life of me can't find it through search or any other means. Is it still available online? Maybe someone has a link? Thanks! (and sorry if this is the wrong place to post this)

Articles get deleted after like 4 months.

Thanks...darn, those were really neat articles I was hoping to share with a friend who is trying to decide to go to CA or FL.

well, if they get to choose. . . go to dl first. it is the original and the winner of said comparisons. nothing can compare to its charm as well as place in history. it is the park that walt walked.

I agree somewhat. But rather than park by park they need to chose based on resort vs. resort (a rather "apples vs. oranges" comparison in my book!)

Or course based on my opinion I said "Neither, go spend 4 days in Tokyo and see what our parks could be like"

Biggest issue I have with Miceage is that there is no archive.
(I shouldn't have to archive each update to my own hard drives, should I?)
I could even do with updates without pictures, if that would save some space.

    1. Where the heck is your friend?
    2. Does he only have 3 months or years to live, and that he must pick only one? If not, then he should just choose one, and then in three years or so, choose the other.
    3. Depending on how many days he plans to spend: Disneyland for three days max, and WDW for 4+ days.

I agree on the apples vs. oranges comparison. None of the resorts really compare with the other. I guess it would depend on what kind of vacation they want. They want something very large and more thrilling- go to WDW. If they want something else, go to DLR.

Hee hee, good job telling them about Tokyo!

From the past few times this subject has come up and The Powers That Be have spoken on it, it seems that the MiceAge group thinks they can make some money selling CD-ROMs of their old articles.

Yeah, because I really want to pay money to read rumors of Monsters Inc rides that already happened.

As for DL vs WDW, it really depends on how many people, where you're from, how much you're willing to spend, what your favorite ride is, etc.

DisneySea is better than DCA but I still think Disneyland is the best theme park of all.
