Re: What kind of food do you bring???

I carry at all times in my huge fanny pack (yes my friends make fun of me, but not when they are hungry while standing in line) granola bars, fruit roll ups, hard candy, and the tiny juicy juices.
The key is not what you bring it is having it available so you do not get tempted by the carts as you are walking to the locker room.

We always eat breakfast at the hotel, be it thiers or our own. Fruit, cereal, toast, ( I bring my own toaster and room fridges are a must)

We come back to the hotel in the middle of the day when its too hot and crowded at the park. We swim, rest... and eat lunch. Lunch meat, cheese,
or my favorite, Goobers, make a good lunch.

We keep tons of other snacks and drinks on hand. (I often think Ive packed my whole pantry) Popcorn, Pop Tarts, more Fruit, chips...

I wonder what the cleaning people think of me...

Hope you have a great trip! Share lots of pics!

When we go with the kids we usualy have Bagels, Bananas, & apples. I also usualy pack other small snacks like little boxes of raisins, some assorted cookie packs (when a sweet snack is needed it works )
    and gum.

But the truth is, we usualy bring most of it back home or eat it in the car on the way home....Disney Treats are just such a big part of the experience for my family

beef Jerky is another good one.

I always go to Sam's Club and buy beef jerky, fruit snacks, licorice, assorted candy bars, and my kids' favorite, Ring Pops. Sometimes I'll get AirHeads. The first thing my kids finish eatins is the jerky. I like having the Ring Pops because they last a long time.

FRUIT SNACKS! They're the quintessential Disneyland snack. They're small, light, won't melt or crush, aren't messy, leave minimal trash, and give you just enough of a sugar boost to make it to your next meal. I never go to Disneyland without them.

My mom always used to bring Capri Suns when we were kids, but I was never a fan, since they just made me thirstier.

My kids have to have the mini Ritz sandwiches in individual bags. Both the PB and the cheese kind. Mint chocolate cookies are always big too(like grasshoppers made by Keebler elves) Oh and the kids like the occasional Pop-tart, and banana.

    For the Room:

Our favorite snack is the Ready to Eat Tuna Salad with crackers. Great protein, filling and no refridgeration needed.

Re: What kind of food do you bring???

When I was younger and there was only one park, I used to pack a backpack with snacks and drinks because I didn't want churros and the like. I used to bring the little applesauce cups from motts, fruit leather for a treat, the little fruit cups from del monte, celery sticks, trail mix from trader joe's or mrs. gooch's and a bottle of water because water wasn't as readily available as it is now. Ok I was an odd child and teenager, but my mother had a chocolate company and I didn't want anything that sweet. When I'm on a diet now I bring something like a chicken salad with a frozen bottle of water to act as an ice pack and I'm always happy. If you have a car for your trip I would strongly recommend hitting a Trader Joe's in the area, because they have lots of good nibbly things for the kids and pre-packaged salads and sandwiches for a good price that are rather delicious.
