What kind of food do you bring???

We are trying to save a little bit of money this trip so we would like to bring some food (especally lunch items for our 4 year old son). We are staying at a hotel that has breakfast, so that is covered. We also are covered in the drink department. What kind of things do you bring for lunch or snacks? So far on our list to bring is:
    Microwave Popcorn
    cheese
    grapes
    peanut butter
    hot dogs
    lunchables
    goldfish

    Any other ideas???
6 Days until our Disneyland trip!!!!

Raw meats and fish can be cooked on the torches around the Tiki Room, so I concur with Maxdad

We always have lunchables and granola bars. Plus we bring juice boxes or pouches. And lots of water bottles. But, no matter how much we bring, the call of churros and frozen lemonades is just too strong. We end up spending a fortune anyway.

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

    Fresh fruit
    pretzels
    pop tarts
    yogurts
    small packs of cookies
    string cheese
    gummy bears
carrots and ranch for dipping. the squeezable bottle
    cheeseits
    cracker jacks
the list goes on and on. my family likes to snack

some times, if staying at a hotel I'll bring a small cooler to keep milk and the like cool. I bring cereal for late night munchies, helps to settle over stimulated kids at the end of a busy day. Although, most places have small fridges.

Back in high school when I only ever had enough cash to get in, I'd put a water bottle, an apple, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and a baggie of Cheerios, raisins, and peanuts in my bag. Then for dinner I'd get gumbo in a bread bowl.

Amazingly, this meant that from the time I arrived at DL to the time I left, I only needed $50 - and admission back then was $45. I'd just bring cash so I wouldn't be tempted to buy anything else, heh.

Are you talking about snacks for your room, or to bring into the park?

Little known fact.....you don't have to spend 2.75 for water at Disneyland. You can get FREE ice water from any fountain drink venor. Simply wait in line and ask for some ice water. You receive a cup full of ice and water, a lid and straw. It's deliciously cold, refreshing and FREE!!

But it is tap water! the thing i do like about needing a stroller is i can put a few big water bottles in, when its real hot, i take half a bottle and freeze it overnight, then refill the rest of the bottle before i go. with a big bottle it stays cold a long time.
we like to bring a can of pringles, the can keeps them from getting crushed. for max we bring a peanut butter sandwich, this with a ice cream cone, makes a nice lunch. i always have fruit snacks, cheerios, baby food and baby cookies but thats because they are so young. one thing my husband does to save money is for lunch we walk across the street to mcdonalds or bring left over pizza, then we can afford a nice dinner in the park.

    We like to bring:

    Beef Jerky
    Trail Mix
    Cereal in Baggies
    Cookies and crackers in baggies

We try to stay away from things that need to stay cool or be chilled. I am usually wary of chocolate as it melts pretty easy. My son and I have CamelBaks that we fill with gallon jugs of water at the hotel that we keep chilled in the small fridge. The bags are insulated so depending on the temperature they usually stay cold into the early afternoon. My wife usually takes small bottles with her.

Geez, humans can live off their stored fat for at least a few days. After that, it's best if the other members of the party try not to look tastey.
