Non-Disney music makes you think of the parks?

In a wierd tangent, does anyone else have music that is not Disney music that makes you think of the parks?

When I was researching for my Club 33 visit to DLR I was listening to Annie Lennox's Bare. Ever since then I strongly equate that music with Disneyland.

At least is wasn't Metallica or Nine Inch Nails.

Lol after reading your post it reminds me of my last trip to Disneyworld in 2004. I was with my uncle and while we drove around Orlando we were listening to Slipknot Vol 3. The Subliminal Verses. So I definitely associate Slipknot with Orlando.

Wang Chung's 'Everybody Have Fun Tonight' and Glass Tiger's 'Don't Forget Me When I'm Gone' remind me of the park because those were the grad night acts that I saw when I was there for Grad Night.

Dramarama's 'Anything Anything Anything' also reminds me of the parks because they were promoting thier song at Videopolis one year while I was there.

Enigma's 'Return to the Innocence' also reminds me of the park as well as Cutting Crew's "I Just Died in your Arms Tonight"

It's not really a Disney song, but the Nightwish song FantasMic is ABOUT Disney. And the No Doubt song Tragic Kingdom is, too.

Ludacris. The song title is not appropriate for the forums lol.

My high school Marching Band was playing at Disneyland, and on the way up there, a friend of mine pulled out a ludacris CD. There are some other details, but let's just say that day was the most fun I've ever had at DL.

Such Great Heights (John Tejada Remix) by The Postal Service/John Tejada reminds me of Disneyland.

It was the only song I listened to while in line for Space Mountain back when I visited the park in July.

May I also add that I waited in line for 75 minutes?

    "Tragic Kingdom" by No Doubt

Once there was a magical kingdomOver time it was lostPrice increased the costNow the fortune of the kingdomIs locked up in its dungeon vaultsThe castle floor lies in trapsWith coiled wires set backDecoyed by old cheeseNow the drawbridge has been liftedAs the millions drop to their kneesThey pay homage to a king Whose dreams are buried in their mindsHis tears are frozen stiffIcicles drip from his eyesThe cold wind blows as it snowsOn those who fight to get inOn heads that are smallDisillusioend as they enter They're unaware what's Behind castle wallsBut now it's written in stone The king has been overthrownBy jesterly foolsAnd the power of the peopleShall come to believe they do ruleThey pay homage to a kingWhose dreams are buried in their mindsHis tears are frozen stiffIcicles drip from his eyesWelcome to the Tragic KingdomCornfields of popcorn Have yet to spring openHave they lost their heads Or are they just blind miceWe've heard all their storiesOne too many timesHypnotized by firefliesThat glow in the darkMidgets that disguise themselvesAs tiny little dwarfsThe parade that's electricalIt serves no real purposeJust takes up a lot of juiceJust to impress usWelcome to the Tragic KingdomCornfields of popcorn Have yet to spring open

Funny this thread should come up. I was recently listening to a Sleater-Kinney song called "Jumpers" off their album The Woods.

Contains the lyrics: "Lonely as a cloud/In the Golden State...", and I always think it would be a great soundtrack to Soarin' in DCA.

    Then later:

"There is a bridge adored and famed
    The Golden spine of engineering"
I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out. - Bill Hicks

Twice now my friend and I have listened to the soundtrack from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on our way to Disneyland and both times we entered the parking lot during Benjamin Calypso. I will forever associate that song with the Mickey and Friends parking structure because of the laugh we had as the CD skipped every time we went over the rows of little bumps!
