    Ralph Brennans report

About 15 of us gathered for dinner on Saturday and let me start off by saying, if you haven't been, go!

We made reservations and we're seated immediately. The food was awesome, the cocktails were potent, the music was jazzy, and our waiter, Mario, ROCKED!

Yes there were a couple of foibles, like it took a while to get our initial drink order to us, and one of our dinners didnt arrive with the rest of the groups, but I would have to say for it being a packed Saturday night and with us having a table of 15, they did a remarkable job. Kudos to Ralph Brennans, and to Mario!!

Mario was the best ever!!! If I had a dining experience everywhere I went, like we had on Sat, I'd go out more often! Kudos to Mario!! If you go there, ask if Mario is working and try to sit in his section! And Ralph Brennan's is quite yummy!!

And really, for as many people ate dinner, it wasn't all that expensive. Obviously everyone had different things and some had extra drinks, but divided up equally, it was only like $33/person or something.

And the food was sooooo good! Again, thanks to Mario for his great service and for having fun with us. I think he could tell we were a bit rowdy (who us?), but he just jumped right in!

You click the "insert image" button (it looks like a mountain.) But, you have to post the image somewhere first. There are plenty of free image hosting site. Just do a Google search.

BTW, Ralphs is great. I had oyster shooters there.

IMHO Brennan's is the best restaurant at Downtown Disney, both in the categories of food and service. Even their take-out window is MILES above that Patina crap (all 3 of which I will never return to, due to HORRID service and/or food).

Being a jazz bassist, I 've been wanting to go there but I usually consider everyone else with me and figured they wouldn't care for the jazz. But next time, we are going !!!! They'll enjoy it and maybe I''ll get to play some jazz (hey ya never know...I sat in the with the Barncats at DCA ).

    Crabs.... oysters.....

Is there anything on the menu that would appeal to us non-seafood people?

many non-seafood choices. I had the tournedos of beef (filet mignon), SunnyG had the carmelized pork chop. Both of us loved it, strongly recommend a visit.
