I always bring in bottled sodas in a soft cooler and no one has ever said a word.

I bring in stuff all the time in my backpack, especially for MouseAdventure. Then I've got Capri Suns and other snacks in there because there's no time to sit down and eat while playing.

However, we usually make up for that with dinner at the park and drinks. Ca-ching, ca-ching!

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive.
If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

With all this talk of "off the shelf" and "on the back-burner" it seems the only thing that DCA is really missing is the kitchen sink!

(We do pack in food also, but its because we can't find it in the park... puppy kibble!!!)
    Puppy kibble? ....As in Purina?

id say they *couldnt* enforce a rule like that even if they wanted to. they dont offer enough options for special diets. i tried to stay vegan in the park and it was absolutely impossible, except for the awesome vegan gumbo. i ended up sticking with vegetarian, and snacking on peanut butter granola bars.

Bringing in food to the park in a discreet manner, such as in your backpack or bag, is acceptable. When you start hauling around a cooler all over the park, that's where your lack of class comes into play. It's equal to bringing in a bag from McDonalds to a nice restaraunt.
Nope... average guests of all kinds actually so no room for stereotypes here.

If you take your pup to the Kennel they do feed the dogs for you. I think that's why the cost went up! I went in Dec. '04 and it was only $10 for the day and an additional cost for them to feed the dogs. Now they do it automatically. I took my puppy there earlier this month and brought her own puppy chow since she's used to it.

But anyway, back to the topic...I went this past Tuesday and carried some snacks with me in my backpack and the sercurity check people did nothing.
