they are annoying....
I work at an ice rink. Lots of hockey players who feel they have to be on less than their own two feet. How do you honestly think I feel about the *(^^$(($%#&)(*_(&&%% things?
I know that this sounds bad, but those shoe's annoy the H**L out of me! I fricking hate them!
I love'em - but I don't think they are appropriate in the parks.
I think that kids can run into thing and people. I work in a art festival, Most of the time I ask nice that the kids to take wheel out or put it in so they walk.
Some art work cost up 10,000.00 doller.
I hate to tell a artist that there art work was broken by a kid.
You are look at a big liable if the kids fell in your place.
I like them, they thin out the herd of dumb kids which = brighter future.
Yep, we've seen plenty of them in use at the Parks.
And lately, we've noticed more girls than boys using them.
Our kids have them, but they are NOT allowed to take them to the Parks.
I hate those things! Not only do they make me think that kids are going to hurt themselves, but it frustrates me that kids have to roll along rather than walk. Kids nowa'days need the exercise! (Like I'm so old... but still - geez!)
I hate the little kids that wear them and don't know how to use them. I'm 18, I love em and haven't fallen once.
Im not sure I understand why everyone thinks they are so annoying. Ive never seen anyone fall either so why all the safety concerns? I think they are cool... Ive been looking for a pair in my size (13) for quit some time.
Unfortunately the safety concern is not of falling as much as it is kids not paying attention to how they use them safely. About two months ago a kid was struck and killed by a car when he used his heelies down his families driveway to get the mail. I know this does not apply to everyone, but if you observe most kids using them they are very focused on the floor and their immediate distances. My nephews use them in my house even and are constantly rolling into furniture, people etc... I remember before the were as popular as they are now, they first came out when I was in high school, some kid fell on stairs with them and hit his head on the concrete stairway resulting in permanent damage. (and I don't mean to the stairs)Quote:

Wait... are they really? I've looked all over and can't find anything that says they are against the rules. Everytime I see them I imagine them falling, but I've never seen someone actually fall...Quote:

oh, and I voted for "love em" because there wasn't the option of "I pay attention to them about as much as I pay attention to any kid's footwear"
I work at a restaurant, and kids like to roll around on them in there to there table, to the washroom.. DO you know how dangerous that is for a waitress with a tray of food... UGH they are sooo annoying!
The shoes come with MANY warnings when you buy them so the risks of using them are clearly known.
