Is anyone going to Disneyland today? It seems DL is going to give away two free lifetime passes to Disneyland for the two billionth person to enter Disneyland. Does anyone know if its already been awarded?

Now DL and McDonalds has another thing in common.

yeah... I camp out at DL the night before the 50th hoping to get something like this... this kid just walks in with her HUGE family of TEN... ARGH!

I got a news release on this, and they mentioned all the stuff that was done for her and her family, but they never mentioned giveing away a lifetime pass. And this was the official news release from Disneyland to press people. And it was two billionth.

What gets me is that all ten members of her family got life time passes to all of the Disney parks.
Also she got the key to Disneyland. I think I'd rather have the key than the pass. You can't buy the key anywhere, it would be way more special.

I wonder if that girl really is the 2 billionth guest. It says she was choosen even before she got in line to enter the park. I guess if you enter on an AP, you have no chance of winning. You got to buy a ticket.

Her reaction sounds a little rehearsed to me, especially if she's just a 12 year old...

This is not just Disneyland, but EVERY Disney park.... Florida, France, Japan, Hong Kong and Anaheim.

No chance. All we are is a steady source of income. They would rather pick a cute kid from middle-of-nowhere Idaho then to pick one of the true financial supporters of the place,

AP people won't ever get it. It would look even more rigged if a Disney nerd(in the eyes of the press anyway) won a lifetime pass to the Disney parks. And they do want the AP holders to renew anyway right?

Why can't they pick the actual physical person to walk thru the turnstiles? They have computers counting ever person that walks in. They must know who is really the two billionth guest. I guess THAT person wouldn't make good PR like a cute little kid.
