Hi all,
I have been so busy watching the HM tracker and driving back and forth to DL that I haven't put these pictures up yet... So here they are.

Just a random sampling from around the park.

Went down last week for a dental convention and couldn't stay away from DL!


Spent some time in the Tiki Room and took some (no flash) pictures:

They are doing some sort of work on the Matterhorn celing, right past the first growl... This picture was taken from the left track. The right track is even more spooky because the whole celing is taken out and all you can see is rafters and lights.... I tried to get a shot of that but couldn't because I kept getting spooked!

That's it. Just thought I would post them for those of you who aren't as close. I had a blast and yet I feel like it has been forever since I have been there. (it was just last night!) hahaha

Yeah, I'm suprised that no one else has said anything about it... it is major! (or maybe I just didn't see that thread)

Does anyone know what the heck they are doing in there?

I didn't see any workers while I was on the ride... that would not be safe!
When you start up the first hill in the pitch black and then you get to the red eyes and the growl, and you make the first right hand turn (on the right side track) if you look up you will see the celing of the "tunnel" is missing! There is nothing for miles... It goes up and it was all lit... so you could see rafters and bars and lights... and then you are gone... it goes by so fast. I think that's what scared me the most. It was dark then all of a sudden the roof is gone and then back to the ride.

They are probably just re-doing it. Maybe it had some type of water damage?? I don't know.
