Who's your favorite band at DL?

I didn't want to jack the other thread about the Fab Four, but I wanted to expand on this subject.


Ours is SandBox Band (.net).

Easy to listen to and watch. They play some great classics from the 70's, 80's, and todays stuff. They must be popular, since when they aren't doing DL, they are at Vegas, Palm Springs, etc. They seem to be fully booked each w/e.

Secondly, I'd have to say the Fab Four.

Those guys, 80's All Starz are cool, too.

The 80's All stars. They are an awesome performing group and they are nice to their techies.

Sandbox and the 80'z All Stars! I'm there everyday they are there, except when their shows fall on a weekday.

I NEVER miss a trip to the Golden Horseshoe Review, Billy Hill and the Hillbillies are a TIGHT little band and some serious pickers. I love that. After catching the new Dapper Dans I'll be looking for them next trip too.

I was really impressed with the band that was playing in Sunshine Plaza in DCA last weekend (5/7) All Hawaiian shirts, played on a trailer pulled by a purple "Woodie". Really LOUD. They played oldies but they were pretty supercharged and seemed to play for hours. Didn't really catch their show except for when I crossed their path while jumping between California Screamin' and Hollywood Tower Hotel but you could hear them all over DCA. Don't know their name ... yet. I'll find out next Sunday.

If Sandbox was the band playing the what used to be called the Tomorrowland Terrace Stage (Club Buzz?) around 10:00 pm last Sunday then they sounded pretty good while I was in line for Autopia.

Never heard the Fab Four. At least the Fab Four that play DL, I'll keep an eye out for 'em.

Yeah, Sandbox played last w/e.

They'll be back in mid June for four days and July as well.

But, how about Barrage. Saw them at WDW and DL and bought their CD.

Guess I'am a sucker for good violins.

Yay for all the Sandbox fans! I think they put on an amazing show because they are so fun and lively. I honestly love them and dont often miss a show. My favorite songs are their originals.

Barrage all the way! I love their stuff, and they're great people, too. I'm just sorry I couldn't get to DCA the week before Easter to see them again.

Not sure if these count as bands, but besides the Dapper Dans before the new members (I haven't heard the new ones to form an opinion yet!), I'm not sure if they have a name, but there's a group of guys in New Orleans Square that sing acapella versions of Motown classics I really enjoyed the last time I was there.

The Fab Four

But there was this other band that I had only seen once a few years back. They were a wild bunch that played alot of classic rock favorites like "Smoke on the water" "Layla" and other classics. I think they were asked not to come back though because on their last set they kept playing even after the park closes and security did not look too happy. They finally lowered the stage at 12:15 and you could tell they were not ready to quit playing yet you could still hear em as they were lowered into the basement. Those guys were awesome.

Mine was the Barncats (actually at DCA), because they let me sit in
on bass.
