You took that out of a statement that I was telling to lazy boy for not talking about money, just the idea.Originally Posted by Motorboat Cruiser
Yea, I think it could happen...more than likely it would be a partnership of some sort, not Disney actually starting it's own airline. So perhaps start one with American Airlines and do joint advertising/discounts, etc.
I'd actually like to see that happen. However after all this hoop-la of plane hi-jackings/crashings- I doubt they'd officially toss their name into that and make a solid 'official' partnership until the 'scare' has worn off and each passenger stops getting interrogated as if we're each guilty of terrorism for just wanting to board a plane to see grandma...(sorry, I am very cynical over this whole "Homeland Security" thing.)

Looks like they changed it for the Anniversary?
I would love to see Disney have their own set of commercil airplanes, but I just think that its too expensive and just too risky to own them. I think it would bascially be more hassel then actual revenue for them. I like the idea though, with teaming up with businesses like Alaska.

I think it would be a terrible idea for disney to go it alone and do a disney airline. they would probably lose a ton of money. I agree with those that say its to risky. Not a good idea.
