I actually saw a baby bird fall into a storm drain before - and it was indirectly my fault! I knocked on the door of this house (I'm a Mormon and I was serving as a missionary at the time), and there was a wreath on the door. There also happened to be a bird's nest in the wreath - which I discovered after I knocked on the door. Well, the birds jumped out of the nest and started wandering around, and one of them hopped right into the storm drain.
Ha! I only had the typical curse words and such when I tracted on my mission.
(You know, I was wondering just what the LDS population on this board would be.... Perhaps a thread in the Lounge would solve the mystery...)

OhMyGosh! I saw them last week at DL. I wait to see them every year! They are SOOO cute! I defy anybody to convince me that there is something CUTER in the whole wide world than BABY DUCKS! I know puppies are cute and maybe some babies(yeah, right). BUT BABY DUCKS ARE THE MOST ADORABLE! I love it when all ducks wave their little feathered tails back and forth. OH! Can you tell I am an animal person and not a parent!
