Just curious what CMs or MCs might say just how busy DL and DCA might be today, Mothers Day?

I went once....it didn't seem that busy to me. They give out carnations.
Well my wife said it was busy there yesterday, so my guess is that it may be busy today as well.
Remember, it is the 50th celebration still - crowds are bigger than usual. Summer is going to be even crazier.
Happy Anniversary, MiceChat!
I would say major buisy.
44,000 by 1pm.
This has been a Filmways presentation dahling.
so, is that busy?...isn't capcity 80k?Originally Posted by Druggas

I am glad I changed my mind and didn't go today. Next Sunday I will try again. Too hot and too crowded. I remember the Carnations on Mother's day so I am glad to see they are still doing that.

Especially 4th of July and the anniversary. How busy exactly are the other days in July?Originally Posted by Demigod

It was fun, I got to see the new HM bride, but I wouldn't have stayed any longer. I'll come back soon instead![]()
Assume that all days all summer will be extremely, extremely busy, especially in July. Be pleasantly surprised if you catch a day where this is not the case. Weekdays will be your best bet, to be sure.Originally Posted by TDR_Fan
That's my assessment, anyway.
Hope it helps.

Thank you POISONEDAPPLES!
I'm just being plain honest, Disneyland in the summer is PURE HELL.
You can't enjoy anything because you can't go on ANYTHING.
You would be lucky to get on 4 rides at the most.
Even Friday, May 12th, 2006 (the 'off' week), when I went, was pretty crowded.
Lol, well I'm a good person to ask.Originally Posted by Gremlin

It does get really crowded in the later hours (around 4-5).
The crowds ruin Disneyland for me. And the sad thing is, even on 'off' days, its always crowded still. It takes a lot of the magic away.
Hopefully when Pirates opens up again, it can suck up a lot of the crowd numbers.
Hey~ major Thanks, guys! I'm glad we didn't go today afterall. Considering what's against us for the summer, my hubbie and I have decided to try to use our APs on a middle-of-the-week venture (like a Tues or Wed trip). We're looking forward to going this Wed, before school is out and before the summer crowds appear.

Sorry to give what might be bad news, but I was there today from 11am till 5pm and it was a beautiful day. Perfect weather, and the crowds were not bad at all. I don't think you could expect much less (or more) from a warm Sunday. My experience:
Alice in Wonderland: Line had almost not overflow
Teacups: Line started way in past the tree
IASW: Line started all the way in as the LAST left turn!
HM: Wait 5 minutes max when we went
Buzz: Shortest I've seen in a long time on the weekend
Overall it was my favorite day at DL of the year so far.
