Matterhorn Vs. Everest

A lot of people think Everest is awesome, well I don't think so.

I think the Manterhorn is way better. The yeti is bigger and his eyes are brighter. Everest ride is not that long, matterhorn is longer.

I would like the matter horn if it was longer and had more snow on it like a reel mountain., ? Whjat i anythings would u do too it>?

Do you like the manterhorn better than the Everest Expedition? What do you all think,? This is my 1st thread so kind of nervouse.

Well, in my opinion, the two really can't be compared. I didn't feel like I was on a "better" or "worse" version of the Matterhorn when I was on Everest...it just felt like a really cool new ride, which by the way I absolutely loved! Obviously the similarities are there, but I just enjoyed the ride without comparing it to Matterhorn, which in my opinion is a classic that could not be duplicated anyway!!

they are on different levels.. one is a classic.. one is modern...

no way to fairly compair and contrast the 2 attractions...

matterhorn is moder too, the first steel tubed track! It's ruff, but not too bad and besides its a bobsled ride supost to be ruff.

Apple and oranges. They are both great, but the EE Yeti is actually bigger in size over the Matterhorn's. Yet, I offer my vote to the Matterhorn as best one because you can't replicate the sense of fun intimacy it offers compared to EE. Of course...when it comes to show quality for this type of ride story...nothing beats TDS' Journey to the Center of the Earth. Biggest monster of them all: Lava Monster, great special effects, and AA technology...overall immersion in show and story even BEFORE you step in the queue.

Exactly. Incomparable. Now if the two rides opened in the same year, maybe.

Matterhorn is a really, really old ride that hangs around today simply because it's an icon. It also only seats a few people per vehicle on the track.

Everest is way different. Besides "snowy cave with ice monster" there's nothing similar between the two.

see idont agree, matterhorn has been upgraded thorough the years look at the sleds, they are two per now when before they were one per.

it's much better i think mainly cause you go up in a dark mountain and don't know what to think. then at the top you go on for the ride of your life. except the one time when somebody standed up and got there head cut off. thats only whut i think though my opinion you have your own okay!

Theming alone will place Matterhorn above EE, even though EE's queue is much nicer than Matterhorn's.

Have you ridden both rides? Or just seen video? Both are different, but if you had to compare I'd put Everest out ahead hands down.

Actually i have been on 1 of them. Its the mattherhorn. the video for the EE is short and dark. but dont care for the track back wards feel and the image of the yeti looks fake. so i will say the matterhorn hands down. but cant wait to ride the everest expedition too so i guess its a wash up. who knows maybie the EE ride is better ,but for now i say the matterhorn.

I would redo the que to the matterhorn though. I will tell you what I would do. I would redo it by making it more of a high mountain theme adding trails and things to make it feel like you are hiking. then all of a sudded i would do something scarry. This is what I would do. I would put you face to face with the yeti. the yeti would be hiding in caves and all you see is his eyes glowing kind of like the evil queen above snow whites scary adventure it woud trick you his eyes falshing sometimes.

this would make it more enticing to the ride riders and then they feel more like on a scarry mountain.
