That's a cool track. Reminds me of the 70's TV show "Space 1999" for some reason... maybe because of the whole Spacestation 77 theme (or something like that) that I recently read about for the DL Space Mountain.

Still, I love the campy, retro Dick Dale soundtrack best of all though. It perfectly matched the action of the ride, and I would laugh all the way through (when it was working) out of sheer joy. But then, I'm a music geek and I loved to point out to people that it was actually based on the Aquarium section of Camille Saint-Saens' "Carnival of the Animals"...

p.s. I love the Screamin' soundtrack, too. Makes me laugh every time (it's working...)!

I love the old theme too. If there ever was time to change the soundtrack now would be the right time to do so. What can I say, I'm an optimistic person! The old music will be missed as I play the CD.

Of course I do the dumb thing of listening to my bootleg rip of the Space Mountain theme in comparison to the possible sound of the new music, and I get horribly nostalgic and sad. Mostly because I barely remember Space Mountain. I mean, I remember the music and I remember that it was awesome and that I was scared to put my hands up or they would get chopped off, but not much else. >.<

DLRP_bopazot, have you been on the ride since it came out? Because it doesn't look like a disney website and to me it looks like whoever made the movie took some footage from mission space (atleast of the people shots) because you can see a wall behind some of them. I'm not trying to bash the movie, it looks great, but is this really the soundtrack to a roller coaster?
Yes many times , i work on that ride and i can say that this ride is very very good but i prefer the old version "De la Terre a la Lune '' . this sound linked is a part of the ride soundtrack .

Ok I just wanted to ask. I guess ride soundtracks don't sound right when there isn't a ride going around.

    Yawn.

Mission 2:'s soundtrack is rather dull.
