Is there a DL ride you prefer to ride at night?

Is there a disneyland or dca ride you prefer to ride at night rather than in the day light? or in the daylight rather than at night?

For me i guess its the storybook land canals boats, at night its so calm and nice i enjoyed it more. it wasn't fun in the day light..

Big Thunder is awesome... well at the MK anyway. Sorry, I've never been to Disneyland, but the experiences are nearly identical.

I once rode Big Thunder while the fireworks were on. Just as I was coming over a hill a huge Mickey Mouse shaped shell was launched. Disney moment #1.

Re: Is there a DL ride you prefer to ride at night?

When I was a kid, my sister and I would always go back to the park at night after we wore our parents out and they went back to the hotel. Night time at DL always meant we'd ride the Matterhorn, the Rocket Jets and the Skyway. They were the best.

Some things never change. In March, my sister and I went back to DL together for the first time in years. We rode the Astral Orbiter at night (which we still call the Rocket Jets--old habits die hard) and suddenly we were kids again.

Now if they'd just put it back on top of the People Mover platform where it belongs, life would be perfect.

I like riding the Matterhorn and Autopia at night.

The Matterhorn's lines always seem to clear up during the evening and I go on it then.

And what can be more relaxing at the end of the day than taking a slow car ride through a feux highway in Disneyland?

Two words ... Mark Twain. I've only had the opportunity to ride it a couple of times at night, due to the fact that Fantasmic wasn't running. It's pretty rare when it runs at night.

If you get a chance though, I recommend it. Just a very peaceful experience.

Expanding to DCA, definitely Tower of Terror.

If you include DCA, then California Screamin', the Ferris Wheel, and in Disneyland, definitely Big Thunder Mountain. I can see where Matterhorn would also be great at night.

In DL, it's hands down for the Storybook Land Canal Boats at night, I love seeing all the lights on in the houses. Second would be Mad Tea Party, once again, it's just beautiful with all the lanterns lit up...

In DCA, it would have to be Tower of Terror. Not only is it scarier, you get to see DL all lit up!

I forgot about this ride, but it has to get my vote also. The incredible detail really comes out at night.

Autopia, and the Mattehorn are great at night, but my #1 attraction at night is definately the Jungle Cruise! Maybe its just cause im tired at the end of the day (around closing) but i just think the skippers and jokes are just waaay better and more creative. then again it could just be me.

I think the Jungle Cruise and Matterhorn are much better experienced at night, and while I love Storybook Land during the day too, it is more charming in the dark.

The Mark Twain at night was always a great ride, especially when they had live music on board!

My absolute "must ride at night" attraction is the Tea Cups!

I so wish I could have experienced that. I especially wouldn't have minded seeing Louis Armstrong performing on the Twain.
