    Scariest Haunt

What's the scariest haunt in the Haunted Mansion?

I think it's a toss up between the
    • ghosts with no faces flying around the chandelier towards the right side of the ballroom and
    • the skeleton hitchhiking ghost.

I've been having some creepy day dreams about the HM lately when I'm alone at home. I think one of them followed me home...
"Peter," she asked, trying to speak firmly, "what are your exact feelings to me?"
"Those of a devoted son, Wendy."
"I thought so," she said, and went and sat by herself at the extreme end of the room.

I think the creepiest faces are the ones in the pictures around the door corridor.

There's one just before you hit the 13 oclock clock that always creeps me out. His mouth is open in a big OOOHHH and he just looks so tortured!

Yes, the flying ghosts in the banquet hall are very creepy. I never liked the popping heads that were in the attic and the corpses that pop up from behind the tombstones. They look like they're someone's grandmother.

    yeah those flying ones!!
That's what I imagine when I think of ghosts, besides wispy, luminous figures, dark shadows, faces, or voices... It creeps me out!
Orbs are a bunch of BS...

which one is that? is there an online image of it somewhere? sounds creepy. is it that black and white picture?

those doors always remind me of that one movie with people stretching thru this t.v. screen.
Never saw it, just looked at pictures on the back of the video

Of the hallway portraits, the grinning skull with the hat is always the one that does it for me.

The ethereal phantom in the crypt at the end of the graveyard scene is another one.

The one that ALWAYS gets to me, though, is only in the MK Mansion: the psychotic mariner in the portrait hall. I have nightmares about getting stuck on the ride right under that picture.

    The Hatbox Ghost.

If you don't think he's creepy, look at my avatar. Same face as the corridor portrait you guys have already mentioned, same face as the skeletal hitchhiker too.

Of course there's the little problem that he hasn't been there since August 1969, but that only makes him more like a real ghost to me.

The old bride used to spook me. I've never been found of the pop-up ghosts because I do not like being startled.

I think that the ghosts jumping up from behind the tombstones were the freakiest.
